An Isle of Wight rower won a gold medal at a prestigious international event, competing as part of Team GB.
Daisy Faithfull, of Shanklin Sandown Rowing Club, came first in the Women's Eight race at the World University Games in Germany.
The race, based in the Rhine-Ruhr valley in Germany, saw GB leading from the beginning but being run to the end by the crew from the Netherlands.
