Shreveport City Council honors Women's History Month
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—The Shreveport city council has officially recognized Women's History Month, passing a resolution to honor women's contributions to the community.
During a special celebration, city leaders paid tribute to the remarkable impact of women from business owners and educators to first responders and more highlighting their essential role in shaping Shreveport's future. Dallas Clark, a Claiborne Fundamental Magnet Elementary School student, served as madam chair for the day.

'We are very intentional about what we do, and when we set our minds to do something, just know that we're gonna get it done. So get out of our way because typically what happens is that when we're doing it, we're not doing it for ourselves; we're doing it for all of just know that when you see us coming, you wait to go see what we do. Happy Women's History Month to the women of Shreveport, Louisiana,' said Councilwoman Tabatha Taylor.
Taylor summed it up best, saying this is what Shreveport, Louisiana looks like.
