4 suspects arrested in burglary of Brad Pitt's home
LOS ANGELES — Four people have been arrested in connection with a burglary at Brad Pitt's Los Angeles home in June, authorities said Monday night. A smash-and-grab theft crew hopped a fence at Pitt's Los Feliz residence on June 25, then ransacked the place and made off with unspecified valuables, police said at the time. Pitt was not home at the time. Jaquory Arman Watson and Damari Zair Charles, both 18, were two of the four suspects identified Monday, according to KNBC. Watson and Charles were arrested last week for an unrelated burglary in Orange County, sources told the station. The other two suspects have not been publicly identified. Watson and Charles are being held without bail in Orange County and pleaded not guilty to the other burglary on Monday, Entertainment Weekly reported. Charges in the Pitt burglary are expected to follow. Investigators believe all four robbers targeted a series of homes in wealthy neighborhoods across Southern California, ABC News reported. They do not believe Pitt was targeted specifically. He was on the road promoting 'F1: The Movie' during the break-in. The break-in at Pitt's home was one of a number of burglaries affecting various stars across Southern California this summer. In late July, thieves attempted to bust into Teddi Mellencamp's residence while she was home, and Los Angeles Dodgers star pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto's home was targeted the following week. _______

Brad Pitt's Los Angeles Home Burglary Suspects Arrested After Two Months
Jaquory Arman Watson and Damari Zair Charles were arrested for a burglary at Brad Pitt's LA home on June 25. They face first-degree burglary charges and are held without bail. Two individuals have been taken into custody following a burglary at actor Brad Pitt's residence in Los Angeles, according to reports from PEOPLE. The incident occurred nearly two months ago, on June 25, when the suspects allegedly gained entry through a front window and stole items from the property. Pitt, aged 61, was not present at his home during the break-in. The suspects have been identified as 18-year-old Jaquory Arman Watson and Damari Zair Charles. Both were arrested on August 11 and face charges of first-degree burglary. Authorities say they are also suspected of involvement in another burglary that took place on August 7 in Orange County, California. The pair are currently held without bail, and if convicted, could face a prison sentence of up to six years. The Los Angeles Police Department stated that the burglary occurred around 10:30 p.m. local time. The suspects reportedly forced entry by breaking through a front window, after which they 'ransacked the location" and fled with various stolen items. Officials reported that the thieves thoroughly searched the home and stole various items, though the exact value of the property taken has not yet been revealed. Investigators believe that Watson and Charles may be part of a larger group responsible for a series of home burglaries across Southern California. Police continue to search for a third suspect linked to the burglary at Pitt's property, who remains unidentified. This incident adds to a growing list of high-profile burglaries targeting celebrities in the Los Angeles area this year. Earlier, in February, the home of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban was also broken into. In that case, burglars reportedly smashed a glass door or window to gain access before escaping with stolen possessions. The Southern California residence of Olivier Giroud, star forward for Los Angeles Football Club and member of France's 2018 World Cup-winning team, was also targeted in a burglary. According to sources, the thieves escaped with 'a significant amount" of jewelry and other valuables. First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
