Crash involving car and motorcyclist shuts road for hours
A main road is closed in both directions following a crash involving a car and a cyclist. The incident happened at around 11.30pm on Bridgend road, Dan-Y-Graig Porthcawl. The road is affected in both directions between the Junction for A48 and A4106. Dan-Y-Graig roundabout is also closed. The road remains closed as of the time of publishing, 2.15pm.
According to South Wales Police the road is expected to remain closed for some time.
A spokesman for the force said: "We're at the scene of a collision between a motorcyclist and the driver of a car on Bridgend road, Dan-Y-Graig Porthcawl.

"The road is currently closed in both directions between the Junction for A48 and A4106 and Dan-Y-Graig roundabout is also closed.
"It is expected to remain closed for some time; please avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. We're grateful for your patience."
