Police investigating factory fires in Hallam and Campbellfield overnight
Fire crews have brought a large factory fire under control in Melbourne's south-east overnight.
The fire broke out at a business in Hallam on the Princes Highway just after midnight, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) said.
Large plumes of smoke and flames could be seen billowing from the roof of the building as at least a dozen fire crews tackled the blaze.
FRV said the fire was brought under control shortly after 3am.
Victoria Police said arson detectives would attend the scene to investigate and that the fire was being treated as suspicious.
Residents around Dandenong South have been warned they may notice smoke in the area.
Another factory fire broke out in Campbellfield, north of Melbourne, just after 5am on Thursday.
Police have also deemed the fire suspicious and are investigating.
