Peterborough prisoner jailed after punching inmate in head
A prisoner who punched another inmate, triggering a seizure, has been jailed Police said Danderson Decker punched his victim in the back of the head unprovoked, as the inmate left his cell, at HMP Peterborough on 15 March was taken to Peterborough City Hospital with serious 30, of Bromham Road in Bedford, pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm with intent and was given another prison sentence of three years and seven months at Cambridge Crown Court on Friday.
DC James Walker-Harrison, who investigated, described the attack as a "brutal assault" which was "reflected in the sentence handed down"."Assault is assault, wherever it takes place, and is always treated seriously by police and the criminal justice system," he said.
