Focus Features has set an October 2025 release for Anemone, which will mark Daniel Day-Lewis' first on-screen performance since 2017. Daniel Day-Lewis co-wrote the film with his son, Ronan Day-Lewis, who is making his directorial debut. The script 'explores family bonds, specifically those involving fathers, sons and brothers.'
Anemone will receive a limited release on October 3rd before expanding wide on October 10th.
