NORTHERN jumps racing has been rocked by an alleged race-fixing scandal.
The BHA and the police are currently investigating a jumps jockey as part of a serious betting conspiracy probe.

There is also believed to be at least one other rider who is involved in enquiries, as well as a licensed trainer.
The jockey at the centre of the investigation, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is alleged to have stopped horses running on their merits.
The BHA requested the jockey hand over their electrical devices, including laptops, tablets and mobile phone.
Police are also involved in the investigation and carried out a search of a property in the same area of the North as the jockey is based.
The jockey hasn't ridden for several months and it's understood they have been stood down by the BHA while the probe is ongoing.
The rider could not be reached for comment, and a BHA spokesperson said: 'The BHA will not comment on speculation surrounding any investigations or potential investigations.'
The last race-fixing scandal to hit the sport was in 2023 when jockey Danny Brock was banned for 15 years.
He was found guilty of stopping two horses at all-weather race meetings, allowing a group of gamblers to profit by laying the horses he'd ridden.
That investigation, which related to three rides between December 2018 and March 2019, took nearly four years to reach its conclusion.
