Sherwin-Williams Unveils The Loneliest Color™ 2025 with Paige Bueckers--A Celebration of Confidence and Self-Expression

Dallas Wings Rookie Paige Bueckers debuts Radiant Lilac SW 0074 as The Loneliest Color™ in a custom ensemble designed and crafted by Dapper Dan CLEVELAND, May 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sherwin-Williams Company believes that every paint color is beautiful, even the most overlooked, which is why they are disrupting traditional trend forecasting for a second year in a row by celebrating its least tinted and albeit least popular color. The Loneliest Color™ 2025 will spotlight Radiant Lilac SW 0074, a shade that inspires self-expression and color confidence. Commanding attention with its bold yet inviting presence, Radiant Lilac SW 0074 infuses any space with warmth, depth, and undeniable energy. A perfect blend of tradition and modernity, this color inspires authenticity and reminds us that true self-expression leaves a lasting impression. 'We're always looking for ways to inspire consumers to take bold and unexpected approaches in their color choices. The Loneliest Color™ is exactly that—celebrating the unique, daring shades that have often been overlooked and would have been considered unconventional before,' shares Sue Wadden, director of color marketing at Sherwin-Williams. 'At its core, color is about making fearless decisions and finding beauty in the unexpected.' Much like Radiant Lilac SW 0074, women's professional sports have long been overlooked. But the tide is changing, and the next generation of athletes are continuing the work the legends have started and are helping to ignite attention and inspire new fans. That's why Sherwin-Williams has teamed up with women's college basketball champion, #1 draft pick for 2025, and now professional basketball player, Paige Bueckers to spotlight what's possible when you stand firm in who you are. Known for her dominance on the court, fashion sense, culture, and—of course—love for the color purple, Bueckers embodies confidence and determination. A dynamic point guard entering her rookie season for the Dallas Wings, she is celebrated for her elite scoring, playmaking, and unwavering confidence on and off the court. 'When it comes to how I choose to express myself, I always stay true to me. I love The Loneliest Color™ 2025 Radiant Lilac for the quiet confidence it conveys,' shared Paige Bueckers. 'Through my partnership with Sherwin-Williams, I want people to feel inspired and empowered to find what sparks that confidence for them—be it through fashion, sports, or the paint on your walls.' Last night, Bueckers unveiled The Loneliest Color™ during her first professional career tunnel walk in her hometown of Minneapolis against the Lynx. Known for their trendsetting approach to style, Bueckers and Harlem couturier Dapper Dan, teamed up to mark this milestone with a custom fit. As women's basketball players across the league continue to transform the tunnel into a runway of sorts, this collab marks a first of its kind moment for Dap, known best for menswear designs and styling. 'It was an honor being named Creative Director of The Loneliest Color™ last year and I'm excited to continue encouraging people to rediscover the beauty of color through this campaign,' shares Dapper Dan. 'Paige has already begun breaking barriers in women's sports, and it's important to me to celebrate the next generation of trailblazers. The look we collaborated on for her debut hometown tunnel walk has so much meaning and as I always say, everyone should be proud of who they are—embrace it and express it unapologetically.' Paige's custom, handmade tracksuit by Dap was inspired by the energetic sophistication of Radiant Lilac SW 0074 with subtle western influences on the drawstrings and pant details – a nod to the Dallas roots she's planting. The set features a zip-up jacket that subtly blends Radiant Lilac SW 0074 with Cavern Clay SW 7701 detailing along the seams and cuffs, adding a fresh, modern touch to the classic silhouette. The fit was designed in a coordinating palette of muted purples and delicate ivory tones – bringing depth and harmony to the look. This outfit balances classic streetwear with a dreamy, elevated twist, perfect for making a statement. Radiant Lilac SW 0074 is Sherwin-Williams least tinted hue, representing the color with the fewest gallons created in 2024. Sherwin-Williams tints millions of gallons across its top colors each year, however fewer than 1,000 gallons of Radiant Lilac SW 0074 have been tinted over the past year, reflecting how collective tastes often favor popular choices over more personal, unique ones. Fans inspired by the collaboration are invited to Rediscover the Beauty of Color at and order their complimentary Radiant Lilac SW 0074 color chip or purchase a Peel & Stick sample for a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to Dallas and tickets for two to attend a women's basketball game. Bringing boldness and sophistication for homeowners Radiant Lilac SW 0074 rewards balance and thoughtful execution. Daring yet versatile, it lends itself to a variety of eclectic design styles including mod, retro, Scandinavian, bohemian and bold minimalism. 'I recommend highlighting architectural features, a statement furniture, or even painted kitchen cabinets for a bold yet refined touch,' says Wadden. 'Any of the above lend themselves well to DIY projects for homeowners.' An unexpected edge for designers Radiant Lilac SW 0074 effortlessly blends with layered textures and bold design elements to create visual interest, allowing designers to craft balanced, thoughtful spaces that ooze creativity and personality. 'Use it in small, intentional doses for the perfect balance,' added Wadden. 'Use it in accent walls, painted furniture, or decorative textiles like pillows, rugs, and curtains.' Paige Bueckers Just Tunnel Walked in a Custom Dapper Dan Sweatsuit

Paige Bueckers has only been a professional athlete for a little over a month and she's already making her mark in the WNBA. The UConn alum was drafted No. 1 overall in the 2025 WNBA draft and joined a Dallas Wings team undergoing a major rebuild. She's had a ton of huge and memorable occasions these past few months, and she just added another one. Tonight, the Wings will play the Minnesota Lynx, which happens to be in Paige's hometown of Minneapolis, and her tunnel walk outfit perfectly celebrated the moment. In collaboration with Sherwin-Williams, Paige worked with legendary fashion designer Dapper Dan to create the custom look for her tunnel walk. The two-tone sweatsuit unveils Sherwin-Williams' 2025 The Loneliest Color, radiant lilac, and Paige is no stranger to the sort purple hue. "It actually happens to be one of my favorite colors," she tells Cosmo, "so I couldn't really believe that it was the least popular color. I was very proud and happy to wear it." The look also has nods to Paige's new home in Dallas with Western influences on the drawstrings and pants. Along with radiant lilac being the main part of the sweatsuit—which inspires self-expression, confidence, and undeniable energy, aka exactly what Paige brings on and off the court—the ensemble also includes Sherwin Williams' Cavern Clay hue on the seams and cuffs, adding a fun, earthy contrast to the muted purple. Ahead of the moment, Cosmo spoke with Paige about making her hometown debut as a WNBA player, working with the Dapper Dan to create the look, and more. Being self-expressive and confident in whatever you want to wear—whether it's the most popular color or least popular—and using it in your way has something that I've tried to do my last couple years in the fashion world. I'm still learning and growing, and but it's always been about being confident in your own skin and not trying to fit in with the norms or what people think you should wear. Dr. Dan is a legend and one of the best tailors. Getting to know him and his personality, as well as work with him and see how much he loves fashion, was really cool. He did an amazing job with the color collaboration, his design, the little details in his logo, the zippers; I thought it was all perfect; It fit me like a glove. It's a mix of tailoring, but also it's a little sweat suit action, so it's ideal for a basketball player like me who loves to chill and be in sweats all the time. I want to get established a little bit and focus on basketball for the most part, so I don't even know what it's gonna look like this season. Truly, it's still up in the air. But I'll probably be working with [stylist] Brittany Hampton again, so we'll see. I love fashion so I want to put on, but there's also a lot of pressure to put on when you're stepping and dressing every single game. This one will be one of my best looks just based on the fact that Dapper Dan created it, and it's a beautiful, radiant lilac color—this will probably be one of my favorite outfits. But for the season, maybe a mix of chill and a mix of a little bit not chill. Just by staying present and being in the moment and being where my feet are. That allows me to enjoy where I am and enjoy the journey and the ups and downs to it, because it's all a part of your process of becoming a better human and better basketball player. So doing that and just being confident, like I've always talked about, and using my voice. I know that I'm a rookie, I don't have any experience at all up to this point, but the way that I connect with people, the way that I can use my voice to help lead, build confidence, have a mix of challenge and support are something that I want to continue to do and stand firm in. Coming back home to Minnesota, playing against the Minnesota Lynx, which were my favorite dynasty growing up with now my favorite organization, the Dallas Wings, it's all a mix of so much excitement, nervousness, anxiousness, and just trying to be confident. It'll start in the tunnel with the great outfit Dapper Dan made for me, but I'm going to try to enjoy it and embrace being out there, especially with my new team. I think the whole experience will be really special. You Might Also Like Here's What NOT to Wear to a Wedding Meet the Laziest, Easiest Acne Routine You'll Ever Try

Star of Storage Hunters fined after driving his BMW at a woman in her 70s - in a dispute over land he wanted to build on

A star of Storage Hunters has been fined after being found guilty of driving his BMW at a woman in her 70s in a dispute over land. Daniel Hill, 43, known as 'Dapper Dan' on the reality TV series, was caught on CCTV driving his car towards the woman in the small village of Haslingfield, Cambridgeshire on March 9 last year. He appeared to drive at speed and then braked heavily, coming to an abrupt stop just in front of her on Badcock Road. The TV star, from Marham, King's Lynn, was sentenced at Cambridge Magistrates' Court on May 6. He was given nine points on his licence after being found guilty of driving without due care and attention. He must also pay a £660 fine. PC Lazaro, from the South Cambs Neighbourhood Team, who investigated, said: 'There has been an ongoing dispute over land in Haslingfield. 'Hill deliberately used his car in a threatening manner. His driving fell far below that of a reasonable and competent driver. It's fortunate that the victim was not crashed into and injured as a result.' It comes after Hill acquired a plot of land in Badcock Road, which had been gardened by a woman in her 70s and her husband for 40 years, in November 2023. He bought it - along with a second piece of land - for £18,000 at an auction of assets of the original estate developer who had gone into liquidation. Hill, who appeared in all five UK series of Storage Hunters from 2014 to 2016 as a 'main buyer,' said at the time that he had 'done the deal of the century'. He also claimed the local residents should have 'stuck their hand in their pocket' if they wanted the land. Hill later claimed the villagers had been trying to drive him away and accused them of 'harassing' him and 'causing criminal damage' to his property. But the residents said he had been 'terrorising' them with his heavy handed behaviour. Hill was arrested and bailed by Cambridgeshire Police in December 2023, accused of harassment, criminal damage and common assault, but was released at the beginning of March last year without charge. He then removed a silver birch, which had a Tree Preservation Order, and submitted plans for a house on his land. Neighbours inundated Cambridge Shared Planning with letters of objection, complaining it would be 'overdevelopment of the area,' as well as lead to 'loss of light'. They also argued it would pose a safety risk to pedestrians and vehicles as it is on a bend. In March last year, Hill was denied planning permission because officers said the site was of an 'insufficient size' and in an 'inappropriate location.' They added: 'The introduction of any dwelling on the site would result in an undesirable form of cramped and contrived development in a prominent location that would be out of keeping with the character and appearance of the area and would give rise to harm to the amenities of neighbouring properties.' Over the last year Hill has been spotted back at the site, dumping dozens of tyres around his land to prevent people accessing it and burning hedge cuttings. In December 2023 Mr Hill said: 'I saw this cheap bit of land at auction. That's how I make my money, I buy stuff cheap and try to make a profit on it. 'Originally I thought it was one of those things where it would go crazy money, it's a beautiful village here. I was watching the auction and it landed around the £5,000 to £6,000 mark and I thought, I've got to have some of this. 'I started bidding and got it for £12,000, obviously there are fees on top, happy days, I actually thought I'd done the deal of the century. I was really happy with it. 'I come down here. I did all my research before. I thought there's planning policy, support planning in the area, there's no TPO's, turned up here and started cutting the trees down, then wham all the villagers came out, almost like with their pitchforks and their angry faces, 'no, no, no, you can't have this land.' 'I said, 'sorry I've bought it', I couldn't really understand what the problem was and ever since then they have been sour pusses. They didn't buy it. I'm not going to buy any tears, this is not a poor area. 'You've got accountants, bankers, all kids of very wealthy people here. If they wanted the land they should have bought it.'

Karlie Kloss makes hilarious reference to THAT iconic Met Gala moment

Karlie Kloss made a humorous reference to an iconic meme from her past appearance at the MET Gala six years earlier. The supermodel, 32 - who is currently pregnant with her third child with husband Joshua Kushner - also attended this year's annual star-studded event, as well as one of the after parties in NYC on Monday. While sitting in the backseat of a vehicle while heading to a bash, the star held up a small mirror as she touched up her lipstick in a snap uploaded to her Instagram stories. The image appeared to be a call back to a previous post she had shared during the 2019 MET Gala when she looked at her reflection with a mini compact mirror while teasing her look for the evening. In the caption, she had penned: 'Looking camp right in the eye,' and the phrase soon went viral with fans on social media at the time. And during an interview with Vogue in 2023, Kloss admitted she 'still gets trolled' over the ensemble that she had worn for the theme Camp: Notes on Fashion. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Karlie Kloss (@karliekloss) Karlie had donned a gold, Gucci minidress that contained black puffy sleeves and was designed by Dapper Dan. When she came across the outfit for the Vogue clip, the beauty initially simply stated, 'Oh boy.' The model then recalled, 'Yes this was the MET Gala that I think I broke the internet, but not in a good way. I still get trolled about this look, where I was "looking camp straight in the eye." 'And I still get, rightfully, trolled. I'll accept it, honestly I deserved that one,' she jokingly added. In regards to the look itself, Karlie explained, 'This was a design created by Dapper Dan, for Gucci. I met Dapper Dan actually through an episode of Project Runway, which I was hosting at the time. 'And I did a challenge in his studio in Harlem and he and I really hit it off. And I think he offered to design my dress.' In her latest picture where she recreated the viral meme, Kloss could be seen wearing a short-sleeved, black knit dress as well as a pair of over-the-knee, crocodile-embossed boots. Her locks were parted in the middle, and fell down in light waves to brush past her shoulders. She carried a small, black purse in her hand to hold items she needed during the night out. Another photo was taken as the beauty stepped out of the car to better showcase her second ensemble for the busy evening. Hours earlier, Kloss had showed off her growing baby bump while donning a long-sleeved, custom LUAR black dress that had buttons on the front as well as a plunging neckline. The skirt fell down to cascade around her into pleated details and she accessorized the look with a sparkling, snake-like necklace and matching earrings. As she walked the blue carpet, Karlie gently cradled her baby bump as she paused for a photo session upon arriving to the venue. The theme for celebrities attending the 2025 MET Gala was Tailored for You - which coincided with the museum's exhibition Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. Nearly two months earlier, the model announced that she is expecting baby number three with husband Joshua Kushner. The couple tied the knot in 2018 and are already parents to children Levi, four, and Elijah, one. She confirmed the big news to Vogue in March and expressed, 'Family is everything to me. Josh and I are incredibly grateful for this blessing.' Kloss also jumped to social media to give a glimpse at her baby bump and typed out, 'Three's a party.' During an interview with The U.S. Sun last year in July, the star opened up about motherhood. 'For me, becoming a parent has opened my heart, my life, and my understanding of and deep empathy for our collective human experience in more ways than I could've imagined,' she gushed. Karlie also explained that, 'My health and wellness needs have evolved over time. What I need now as a mother is much different than what I needed when I was at the beginning of my career. 'Since becoming a mom of two, it's trickier to find time to prioritize my wellness. I have two other humans to care for, so being efficient is the name of the game now.' The model stated that her mornings begin with her taking supplements and drinking a smoothie. She later added, 'As I've become busier, I've become more and more aware of how important it is to make sure my health and wellness is up to par.' Karlie also stressed the importance of listening to one's body. 'When you feel brain fog coming on, take time to rest or power nap. If you can't do that, feed your brain with the right foods like leafy greens, avocados, eggs, and salmon.' On Tuesday, the star jumped to her Instagram page to upload a few behind-the-scenes polaroid snaps as she got ready for the MET Gala. In one image, she could be seen applying lipstick while in another, she once again also recreated the viral meme and photo from 2019.
