Man arrested after motorcyclist dies in Warter crash
A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a crash involving a car and a motorcycle, police have Police said emergency crews were called to reports of a collision involving a Ford Mondeo and a BMW R1250 on the B1246 at Warter, East Yorkshire, shortly before 16:00 BST on Sunday, the motorcyclist was named by his family as 37-year-old Darren Stringer. Officers said Mr Stringer died at the scene and added his family was being arrested man, aged 48, was later released on police bail pending further inquiries, said the force. Motorbike rider dies following crash near York
A man who died in a fatal road crash near York has been named by his were called to the B1246 Inrea Hill, Warter around 3.50pm on Saturday, 21 June, to reports that a red Ford Mondeo, and motorbike, a blue BMW R1250 had services were deployed however, the motorbike rider, 37-year-old Darren Stringer, died at the scene from his injuries.A police spokespersons confirmed his family are being supported by specialist trained officers. The driver of the Ford Mondeo, a 48-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been released on police bail whilst enquiries Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
