Driver dies in single-car crash near Stalbridge
A driver has died in a single-car crash in north incident, involving a grey BMW, happened shortly before 09:30 BST on the A357 Cook's Lane, near driver, a man in his 20s, died at the scene. His family has been stretch of road, near Spire Hill Farm business estate, remained closed into the afternoon for crash investigation work. Dorset Police appealed for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to get in Dave Cotterill, of the force's roads policing team, said: "Our thoughts are very much with the family and friends of the man who sadly died in this collision."I would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding while the road closures are in place." Driver dies in crash near Dorset business park
A driver has died after his car crashed near a business park near Holton Heath in Dorset. Police were called to Wareham Road at 5.30am on Sunday June 1st, following reports of a collision between the Bakers Arms Roundabout and the entrance to the Romany Business Park, involving a silver Ford Fiesta Flight. Emergency services attended and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers. There were no passengers in the vehicle. Road closures were put in place to allow the emergency services to respond to the incident and for a detailed examination of the collision scene to be carried out. Sergeant Dave Cotterill, of the Roads Policing Team, said: 'Our thoughts go out to the family and loved ones of the man who very sadly died in this collision. 'We are continuing to carry out a detailed investigation to establish the full circumstances of what happened. 'I would urge any witnesses, or anyone who may have captured relevant dashcam footage or doorbell CCTV in the local area, to please make contact with us.
