Conor McGregor ‘reveals huge UFC comeback' just a day after Azealia Banks ‘nudes' allegations and cheating scandal
Conor McGregor will make his long-awaited return to the UFC at their rumoured White House event next year, Bare Knuckle FC founder Dave Feldman has alleged. The Irish MMA superstar has not stepped foot inside the octagon since July 2021, where he suffered a horror leg break against American fighter Dustin Poirier in the third fight of their trilogy. McGregor was set to face rival Michael Chandler last summer but, after months of fight build-up, was forced to pull out of the bout due to a toe injury. While many fans have given up hope of McGregor making, yet another, comeback to the sport, Feldman's comments may give them renewed hope. 'He's got two fights left on his contract. He's got to get right,' he told The Ariel Helwani Show. 'The whole world's waiting. Is he going to get in shape and fight? 'He told me in person, he whispered in my ear, he said, "I'm in the testing pool. I'm getting ready to make my comeback. I'm going to fight on that big card, then I'm going to have another fight, and then we can talk".' McGregor himself also teased his MMA return last week at a Bare Knuckle FC event. 'It's looking like I'm headed to the Oval Office again,' he said. 'That's where I'm headed next'. His statement was met by a round of applause from fans in attendance. Donald Trump announced that he wants a card to take place at the White House during America's 250th birthday next July - which led to McGregor's interest. As part of his victory lap after Congress passed his 'Big Beautiful Bill', Trump mentioned ways that the United States would celebrate its 250th birthday. Among the suggestions was a mixed martial arts event inside The Octagon steps from the Oval Office. News of McGregor's potential return comes just a day after he found himself embroiled in scandal earlier on Monday when rapper Azealia Banks shared alleged nude photos of him, which she claimed he sent to her unprompted. Banks, who is known for getting into high-profile feuds on social media, posted two shocking photos seemingly of McGregor posing in the mirror while completely naked, which she alleges he sent to her via direct message on X despite not following him. 'How you gonna send a b**** a some crooked d*** pics then threaten her not to tell,' she wrote alongside the screenshots. '@TheNotoriousMMA n**** do you know who the f*** I am? This is HARAM'. McGregor was spotted smooching the mystery woman in full view of fellow beachgoers Banks then continued: 'Like how are you really going to sexually harrass me with the potato farmer d*** then threaten me not to tell???? Honey…… ain't u trying to be the president of Ireland what is it giving fam? Use some f***ing sunscreen damn'. As well as the alleged nude selfies, the screenshots also show a message from what appears to be McGregor's account reading: 'Don't be a rat cos all rats get caught'. Alongside one image which seemingly shows his manhood strapped to a dumbbell, the Irish fighter apparently wrote: 'Lifting weights'. Banks then shared another screenshot of the alleged pictures suddenly being 'hidden' on X because she does not follow McGregor's account. Although it is unclear if he had anything to do with that change, she commented: 'The motherf***er woke up early LOL.' Banks' accusations came after McGregor, who has been engaged to his fiancée Dee Devlin since August 2020, was caught packing on the PDA with a mystery bikini-clad woman on a Florida beach over the weekend. A beaming McGregor was all over the unknown woman during a beach day in Fortwife Lauderdale, Florida, with his loyal partner Dee Devlin nowhere in sight. McGregor was spotted enjoying a cold beverage while the woman, who was dressed in a racy leopard print bikini, shared his sun lounger. The pair chatted away in the shade as the sportsman cozied up to her by wrapping his arm around her back.
