Crawley man jailed for causing fatal crash in friend's car
A man has been jailed for two years after losing control of his friend's car and causing a fatal Zubair, 28, pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving and driving a vehicle while uninsured after crashing a black BMW, causing a collision with two other driver of one car which Zubair hit, David Pollard, 78, died of complications from injuries he sustained in the crash on 9 February 2023 in Ifield Road, of Lucas Close, Maidenbower, was also jailed for 12 weeks on 23 April 2025, after driving while disqualified and uninsured the day before - less than a month after he was provisionally suspended having pleaded guilty.
