Carlisle man charged with burglary offences
Officers from Eden's Neighbourhood Policing Team and detectives from CID have charged a man from with burglary offences.
David Winkley-Balmer, aged 29 of Buchanan Road, Carlisle, has been charged with two burglary offences.
He was remanded and appeared before Carlisle Magistrates Court on Friday, August 8 before a further hearing on September 8.
These offences are being investigated under Operation Themis – Cumbria Constabulary's response to and focus on burglaries.

Inspector Mo Bibby, Eden NPT said: 'We know being a victim of burglary can have a huge impact on victims having their home invaded and can be an incredibly traumatising and distressing experience.
'We take burglary offences extremely seriously and are committed to reducing offences and will act upon information we receive from the public.
'Support from our communities is vital in helping us investigating such offences so please continue to report information to us.'
