Second location opened for sandbags due to long lines
HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – People in Daviess County will have a second location at Panther Creek Park for residents to acquire sandbags as of 10:30 a.m. The Daviess County Sheriff's Office states this is due to the location at the Daviess County Operations Center experiencing lines that are backing up traffic. Officials are recommending traffic to take KY 56 west and to turn south onto KY 279 south to the back entrance of the park. Officials are also asking residents to follow the Daviess County Fiscal Court and Daviess County Emergency Management Agency Facebook pages for further updates and requirements to pick up sandbags.
