Broncos Suggested to Trade for Falcons RB Tyler Allgeier
Broncos Suggested to Trade for Falcons RB Tyler Allgeier originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Despite Sean Payton's promise to get Audric Estime more touches in 2025 and the excitement around rookie RJ Harvey, the running back position is one of the weaknesses of the Denver Broncos. Advertisement This suggested trade would add a proven lead back to the mix, give Harvey time to develop, and add overall depth and talent to the position. Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport suggested the Broncos could trade for Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier. Allgeier is entering his fourth year in the league, and after a stellar rookie season, his numbers have diminished. However, it's not because of a lack of talent on his end, it's because of the emergence of eighth-overall pick Bijan Robinson. As Davenport stated in his explanation, Robinson became a true workhorse for the Falcons last season. He garnered 365 touches, which was second in the league behind Saquon Barkley. Advertisement Bleacher Report's Brent Sobleski added that the Falcons should explore trading the fourth-year running back because he has no incentive to sign an extension with Robinson as the workhorse in the backfield. Sobleski believes Allgeier has the workhorse ability, and the Falcons could get a Day Two pick for the back. Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton speaks to the media following rookie minicamp at Broncos Park Powered by Credit: Ron Chenoy-Imagn Images In the one year Allgeier had the opportunity to be the lead back, he excelled. In his rookie season, Allgeier had 210 carries for 1,035 yards. If you look back at college, Allgeier ran for 2,736 yards and 36 touchdowns in his final two years at BYU. That describes a workhorse pretty clearly. Advertisement This would make sense for the Broncos in the short term, but they'd likely look for Estime or Harvey to pay off in the long term. Estime had a slow rookie season, but Payton believes with adequate volume, he can make strides in 2025. As for Harvey, there's plenty of hype around the second-round draft pick. The addition of Allgeier would give the Broncos a proven workhorse, but could it slow the progression of their last two draft picks at the position? Allgeier does have the potential to be a starter in the NFL, and the Broncos, while full of potential, are one of the weaker proven backfields in the league. Advertisement The suggested trade would add depth and strength to the position, but it would come at a cost. The Last Of Us Episode 5 Best Reactions Ellie Nora
Welcome to another week of The Last of Us Season 2 as Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and Dina (Isabela Merced) descend further into the chaos that is Seattle. This week's episode was Episode 5 — titled "Feel Her Love" and was directed by Stephen Williams and written by Craig Mazin. With Seattle Day Two starting, Ellie and Dina march forward and try to get to the hospital where Nora (Tati Gabrielle) is apparently hiding out. However, they finally learn that Seattle is more dangerous than they could've ever dreamed when they encounter numerous stalkers and are (thankfully) saved by Jesse (Young Mazino), who has followed them to Seattle alongside Tommy (Gabriel Luna). And if that wasn't enough, Jesse, Ellie, and Dina then run head-on into the Seraphites in a park, and see firsthand just how ruthless they are, too. With Dina injured, Ellie decides to continue to the hospital alone, which is where we get one of the most ruthless scenes from the video game, as Ellie confronts Nora. Also, the episode ends with a teaser into next week's flashback-heavy episode with Ellie waking up to Joel walking into her room — welcome back, Pedro Pascal. We've missed you. Oh, and don't even get me started on Ellie starting to play "Future Days," because I am so emotionally fragile still. So, naturally, fans — like me — took to Twitter to voice their opinions over this latest episode, make some incredible jokes, and give A+ commentary about "Feel Her Love." So, here are some of the best tweets about The Last of Us Season 2, Episode 5: And finally: What did you think of The Last of Us Season 2, Episode 5? Tell us everything in the comments below!

2025 Post-Draft Dynasty Rookie QB Rankings: Cam Ward leads the way
The Titans took the layup pick at the top of the 2025 NFL Draft with Miami quarterback Cam Ward, but things quickly went off the rails for the rest of the class. If you want a deeper dive into the rookie quarterbacks, check out my pre-draft rankings. For the big risers and falls of the draft, I have some notes and analysis below my updated ranks. Cam Ward and Jaxson Dart Go in Round One No changes with the first two picks. Ward was the clear-cut QB1 in the draft and remains so in dynasty leagues. Jaxson Dart's combination of arm talent and rushing potential had him as my QB2 before the draft and he put even more distance between himself and the QB3 by going at 24 to the Giants. Things get shaken up at the third quarterback spot. As much as it pains me to rank a seven-year college quarterback with modest production this high, Tyler Shough could start all 17 games as a rookie. Shough was billed as a ready-made starter and—to his credit—he protected the football incredibly well in his final season at Louisville. I was low on him heading into the draft and still see the Saints as contenders to draft a quarterback early next year, but this is as good as a landing spot gets for a Day Two passer. Jalen Milroe isn't a great bet to make many starts as a rookie, but Sam Darnold has no money truly guaranteed for the 2026 season. He only has injury guarantees and guarantees that trigger shortly after the year ends. The former could hurt his odds of playing late in the year if he's struggling and the Seahawks don't want to risk their wallet on a late-season injury. Milroe ran for 20 touchdowns in the SEC last year. If he gets the chance to start, I want him on my fantasy team. Browns Quarterback Conundrum As expected, the Browns passed on quarterback at the top of the draft but circled back on Day Two. What was not expected was their selection of Oregon's Dillon Gabriel. The former Duck, Sooner, and Knight ranked 13th in the country in EPA per play and ninth in total passing EPA generated last year. He ranked second in EPA per play in 2023, his final season at Oklahoma. At 5'11/205, Gabriel doesn't have anything resembling NFL size, but he wasn't limited by his arm in college. Gabriel ranked top-10 in completion rate and YPA on deep throws in 2023 and 2024. He also brought some rushing juice to the table with 756 yards and 19 scores on the ground over his final two seasons. The size and the fact that it took him six seasons of college ball to make it to the third round peg Gabriel as a career backup, but with only Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett currently standing in his way, I would bet on Gabriel to make some starts as a rookie. With zero confidence, I would also bet on Shedeur Sanders to make at least one start in 2025. The Browns stopped his slide at pick No. 144 on Day Three of the draft. Reports of poor interviews during the pre-draft process were quick to surface amidst the slide. Both his tape and numbers also had clear red flags. With all of that being said, Gabriel is one of the few quarterbacks in the class with more game-manager comps than Sanders. The Browns are not overly invested in Gabriel either. If he struggles when it's his turn at the plate, I fully expect the leash to be short and Sanders to get a crack at the job. Steelers Take a Shot on Will Howard Ohio State's Will Howard didn't make my initial dynasty quarterback rankings. The 6'4/236 passer didn't consistently show the level of arm strength you'd expect from someone of his size and his rushing numbers were no better than solid. He ran for 250 yards after taking out sack yardage in 2024 but did top 400 yards twice at Kansas State. Howard's 3.3 percent turnover-worthy throw rate in his final two seasons isn't ideal, but he offset it with a phenomenal pressure-to-sack rate of 12.6 percent. He executed Chip Kelly's system extremely well in his final season, ranking third in the country in EPA per play. He's a limited passer in both his processing and his physical tools, but he brings some rushing to the table and can typically get his throws where they need to be early in the progression. Now he heads to an Arthur Smith offense that, for all of its faults, doesn't ask much of its quarterback. If Howard wins the starting job at any point in his rookie season, I think there's a good shot he keeps it into his second campaign. Riley Leonard is a Fantasy Sleeper Riley Leonard is the last rookie quarterback with any realistic shot at making starts in 2025. He brings a similar profile to the NFL as Colts starter Anthony Richardson and is fittingly parked behind Ant to start his career. Richardson was already benched once and fellow Colt Daniel Jones was cut midseason last year. There's a path to starts and Leonard is a player you want on your fantasy team when he's under center. He rushed for 776 yards and 13 touchdowns as a sophomore and then 982 yards and 17 scores as a senior.

Matthew Stafford contract shifts Steelers attention at QB
Matthew Stafford contract shifts Steelers attention at QB LA's quarterback is back: the Rams and Matthew Stafford reached agreement today on a restructured deal that keeps him in Los Angeles and quashes any and all trade speculation, per sources. The first significant off-season QB domino has fallen. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) February 28, 2025 On Friday, the news broke that the Los Angeles Rams had signed quarterback Matthew Stafford to a contract restructure that will keep him with the Rams for the foreseeable future. This also marks one potential quarterback off the list for the Pittsburgh Steelers and shrinks the list of Pittsburgh's potential starters for the 2025 NFL season. At this point, the Steelers best options for a starting quarterback in 2025 is either Russell Wilson or Justin Fields. Both guys started for the Steelers in 2024. Rumors have swirled about which guy the Steelers favor and which one is more likely to re-sign. With Stafford officially off the market, Pittsburgh needs to focus their attention on re-signing one of those players and then use a Day Two pick in the 2025 NFL to select a developmental player for the future. The Steelers have had official meetings with quarterbacks Quinn Ewers and Jaxson Dart at the NFL scouting combine. Both would be interesting guys to pair up with Fields in 2025 because of their athleticism. Stafford seemed miscast in the Steelers offense so it is just as well the Steelers never had an opportunity to trade for him.

5 big standouts from Day 1 of the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine
5 big standouts from Day 1 of the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine The first day of on-field workouts at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine may have been the most important to the Carolina Panthers. Thursday's events from Lucas Oil Stadium saw the upcoming draft's top defensive linemen and linebackers get to work. These positions sit amongst the very top of the offseason to-do list for the Panthers, who are actively seeking to reshape their defensive front. Carolina's historically-bad defense not only allowed the most points ever in a season, but the unit also relinquished (by far) the most rushing yards per game in 2024 while accumulating the lowest pressure rate. So, yeah, you bet general manager Dan Morgan and head coach Dave Canales were paying attention this afternoon. With that in mind, let's take a look at the top performers from the first day of the combine . . . C.J. West, DL, Indiana An underrated defensive tackle, West needed a proper showing in Indianapolis to help boost his stock as a potential middle-round selection. He did precisely that. The former Hoosiers standout measured in at 6-foot-1 and 316 pounds with 31.5-inch arms. He ran a 4.95-second 40-yard dash and an above-average 1.73-second 10-yard split. West is a powerful interior player who can discard lineman in the trenches while flashing pass rush upside. His motor and effort will allow him to be an effective rotational rusher early in his career. Darius Alexander, DL, Toledo Alexander, one of the best small-school prospects of the class, has become a fan favorite. His athleticism on the All-22 film translated to testing and drills at the combine. The 6-foot-3, 305-pounder measured in with 34-inch arms. He recorded a 4.95-second 40-yard dash with a 1.72-second 10-yard split—the fourth-best on Thursday amongst all defensive tackles. He may have just solidified himself as a Day Two selection. Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M Many knew that Stewart would test off the charts, and he did. But his combine performance was, somehow, much better than expected. Stewart, 6-foot-5, 267 pounds, hit a 40-inch jump in the vertical and a 10-foot, 11-inch jump in the broad. Those ranked, respectively, as the second-best and best marks of the edge group. He then lit up stopwatches with a 4.59-second 40-yard dash and a 1.58-second 10-yard split. Those are absurd numbers that may have locked Stewart in as a top-15 selection. So despite his lack of production in college, someone will take a big chance on his very special athleticism. James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee While his 31-inch vertical jump may not seem impressive, it's the explosiveness that matters with Pearce—and he put that on full display with his runs. At, 6-foot-5 and 245 pounds, the two-time first-team All-SEC selection ran defensive line-highs with a 4.47-second 40-yard dash and a 1.56-second 10-yard split. Those times showcased the acceleration, fluidity and smoothness we saw in Tennessee. Pearce is making a case to be a top-20 selection, and perhaps a dark-horse choice at No. 8 overall for the Panthers. Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama If there is a pure linebacker with a chance of jumping into the first round, it's Campbell. The former edge rusher-turned-off-ball linebacker was terrific on Thursday, running a 4.52-second 40-yard dash and a 1.53-second 10-yard split. The 6-foot-3, 235-pounder showed his hip fluidity, range, quickness and reactionary skills in drills. Carolina needs rangy, explosive and physical players in the front seven—and if they choose to trade up in the second round, Campbell could be there waiting for them.
