Sakamoto Days part 2 episode 1: The much-awaited comeback of Sakamoto Days with part 2 has received a lukewarm response from anime fans. Although anticipation was high, the debut episode fell short for many viewers, who described it as 'mid.' Many acknowledged that the production quality had improved, leading to noticeably better animation. However, they felt that the episode failed to live up to the hype. In other words, while the visuals impressed, the storytelling and plot execution didn't quite meet expectations. One wrote, 'Coming from Manga, They had a huge chance here!! Not gonna blame the Animators but like how much time were they given in pre production?.' Another added, 'Episode 1 was mid, but the comp was better ig. Ep2 was really good. The animation was decent and the drawings were nice.' A third went on to add, 'Yeah Sakamoto days is cooked these animators just spam still frames and slo mo.
