ITV Dancing on Ice star who quit show opens up on moment that led to injury
Dancing on Ice's Josh Jones has opened up about the injury that forced him out of the ITV competition just hours before the latest episode was set to air. It was announced earlier today (January 26) that the 32-year-old comedian from Failsworth had to pull out of the skating competition after sustaining an injury in rehearsal. He was set to appear in the third episode with professional skating partner Tippy Packard. Josh said he was 'annoyed' by his early exit and would miss spending time with Tippy. He even revealed they spent New Year's Eve together. The cyclist and swimmer took to her Instagram page to share snaps of her leg in a cast after fracturing her left ankle weeks before the show even began. Josh, who hosts the historical gossip podcast Dead Drama, joined Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern in the studio and said: "So we were skating and then I went over on my ankle." He added: "And then kind of like twisted my I'm annoyed because I've got a cold sore as well. So I've got a lump on my leg and my ankle."
