Before she became Mrs. Lesnar, Rena Marlette Greek carved out her legacy in WWE as the iconic Sable. She burst onto the scene in 1996 and quickly rose to prominence, winning the Women's Championship in 1998. Her swagger and stage presence broke barriers for women in wrestling, often declaring before matches. WWE itself credited her as 'a pioneer who broke new ground for the ladies of the ring.'
Sable's journey, however, wasn't straightforward. Originally a model for brands like L'Oréal and Pepsi, she admitted in a 1999 interview with the Ottawa Sun, 'I always wanted to be an entertainer — a singer, maybe a famous model — but I never dreamt I'd become a wrestler.'

After divorcing fellow wrestler Marc Mero in 2004, Sable's relationship with Lesnar stirred headlines, especially due to the age gap and the timing. Lesnar's 2011 memoir Death Clutch: My Story of Determination, Domination, and Survival recounts the intense early days of their romance, including a dramatic moment when he broke into her Florida home just to propose.
He wrote, 'I used the screwdriver [a neighbor loaned me] to get into one of her sliding doors... and now I'm inside.' That impulsive act led to a week together and eventually a proposal at the Orlando airport's waterfall.

The couple married in 2006 and have two sons, Turk and Duke. Lesnar also shares a daughter, Mya, with former fiancée Nicole McClain. Mya is a rising star in her own right— a national shot put champion and recent Mountain West Conference winner.
She recently went public with her relationship with San Francisco 49ers player Zaire Moss, signaling that Lesnar's legacy isn't just inside the ring.
Despite public scrutiny and early controversies, Lesnar credits Sable as the foundation of his life. 'I can't imagine coming home to someone different,' he once told Sports Illustrated, calling her 'a solid rock in my life.' In his memoir, he reflected, 'She had worked so hard to get back into that company, and now she was leaving it again... giving up her career for me.'
