New Saints beat Nomads to complete domestic Welsh treble
The New Saints came from behind to beat holders Connah's Quay Nomads 2-1 to win the JD Welsh Cup Final and complete the domestic treble for the first time in 10 started the final at Newport's Rodney Parade with only 10 players after an error in naming the team but were ahead inside seven Declan Poole scored his first of the season following a great piece of skill from Everton academy product Rhys Saints responded and although Adam Wilson's goal was harshly overturned for a pull on the shirt of Nomads defender Kris Owen they were level on 17 minutes.
