John Deere files notice of mass layoffs at Harvester Works
John Deere filed notice of mass layoffs at John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline.
The move comes a day before the company is scheduled to report earnings. The company filed notice of the layoffs with Illinois workNet Center. It says Deere cut a little more than 800 jobs since the start of layoffs in September of 2023. Deere is scheduled to report earnings Thursday morning.
Our Quad Cities News tried contacting John Deere for comment, but we've gotten no response.
