Ralph De Leon on Will Ashley's on faded closeness with Bianca De Vera: It was all about respect, boundaries
Ralph De Leon defended Will Ashley after being questioned about his faded closeness and shift in friendship with Bianca De Vera during the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition."
Wednesday's episode showed the continuation of Boy Abunda's visit inside the house and Ralph and Will's turn for the "Defend Your Duo" segment.
The question for Will, which was answered by Ralph, was: "Will, what happened sa sinabi mo kay Bianca after noong Boys Night Out n'yo na mas mag-e-effort ka na bumawi at maibalik ang malapit na pagkakaibigan n'yo noon? Bakit natapos ang edisyon na hindi nanumbalik ang closeness n'yo?"
Ralph responded with composure, emphasizing Will's decision to prioritize respect and personal boundaries.
"For Will, Tito Boy and to everyone watching, it was all about respect. It was all about boundaries because they set the boundaries within their relationship for Bianca and Dustin [Yu]," Ralph said.
Per Ralph, Bianca and Dustin weren't comfortable sharing things with Will or building a relationship with Will because of what they have.
"Both of them were friends with Will outside. Both of them had certain relationships with Will outside. But here in this house, they wanted to build something for themselves, and Will chose to respect that. Will chose to give them that space. And Will really just respected whatever they had," Ralph said.
Will echoed his duo's sentiments, affirming that Ralph had spoken exactly what he would have said himself.
"Alam na po talaga ng mga housemates, especially si Ralph, kung ano po 'yung mga totoong nangyayari talaga. Kaya 'yung mga sinabi po ni Ralph kanina, 'yun po talaga 'yung exact na mga words na gusto ko pong sabihin kung ako man po 'yung mag-e-explain para sa sarili ko po," he said.
