River Island launches limited-edition summer collab with contemporary artist

Fashion retailer River Island has revealed the latest offer in its 'Behind the Design' series, an exclusive limited-edition collection created in collaboration with contemporary artist Adrianne Dimitrakakis, founder of Atlas. The drop 'fuses fashion with storytelling, transforming Adrianne's distinctive hand-drawn artwork into 45 bold, bespoke summer pieces'. Rooted in the artist's 'spirit of exploration', each sun-washed design is inspired by her travels across remote islands and off-the-map destinations giving inspiration to her vintage-inspired aesthetic. Thus, every print in the collection 'tells a story; and every piece becomes a keepsake… echoing her illustrated maps, collected trinkets, and the nostalgic charm of vintage posters… to brighten every summer wardrobe'. Key pieces include dresses, printed blazers for women, tailored shorts (sizes XS-XL), and linen shirts for men. The collection also features a kids' range including boys (1-14 years in one style), 5-14 years in the rest, and older girls (5-14 years). In April, River Island's Behind The Design series also launched a curated resortwear collaboration with Latin-Australian swimwear brand Del Maar. The series has previously featured independent creatives such as Sheffield-based visual artist and photographer Joe Horner, who created an occasionwear collection inspired by his award-winning artworks.

Billie Faiers flaunts her jaw-dropping figure in a stylish floral bikini as she poses with her mini-me daughter Nelly, 10, during family holiday in Dubai

Billie Faiers showed off her incredible figure in a stylish floral bikini as she posed with her mini-me daughter Nelly on holiday in Dubai in an Instagram snap on Tuesday. The former TOWIE star, 35, looked sensational in the stylish two-piece as she flaunted her jaw-dropping frame. Posing alongside her lookalike daughter Nelly, 10, Billie teamed the bikini with a matching Pink Del Maar floral chiffon kaftan from River Island. Meanwhile, Nelly sported a colourful one-piece swimsuit from the fashion brand's new swimwear collection. The mother-of-three captioned the snaps with: 'Beach days with Nelly. Loving our gorgeous swimwear from the new @riverisland x Del Maar collection (love heart emoji)' It comes after Billie and her sister Sam Faiers, 34, announced they are reuniting for a brand new TV series - four years after their hit joint show The Mummy Diaries ended. The former TOWIE stars shared the exciting news with their Instagram followers last Thursday as they posed for a snap with their TV crew. Sam and Billie revealed they are ready to give fans a 'fresh look into their lives' in the new fly-on-the-wall ITV show as they continue to navigate their careers and family life. They penned: 'We're so excited to be back together for a brand new series, Sam & Billie: Sister Act! 'It's our first time on screen as a duo since Sam & Billie: The Mummy Diaries ended in 2021. 'Since then, Billie continued with Billie & Greg: The Family Diaries, and now we're reuniting to give a fresh look into our lives. 'The new series will follow us as we navigate our careers, motherhood, and relationships – and we can't wait to share this next chapter with you all ✨Coming soon to @itv @potatoitv'. Fans rushed to the comments to share their excitement after missing the sister duo as they walked separately over the past four years. They wrote: 'Can't bloody wait; Yay congrats girls; Can't wait for this ladies; Yay excited for this; YAAAAAY best news ever!!' Last year in September Billie quit her long-running ITVBe series The Family Diaries as she wanted to give her three children the chance to 'grow up away from cameras'. Billie and Greg, 40, share three children Nelly, Arthur, seven, and Margot, 25 months, who have grown up on reality TV since birth. Meanwhile, her sister Sam stepped back from the show three years earlier to focus on her business, Revive Collagen. It's understood that Sam was hesitant to return to TV, but ITV made her an offer she couldn't refuse as part of an exclusive golden handcuffs deal. The opportunity to work alongside her sister again played an important role in her decision. Their oldest daughter Nelly made her television debut on The Only Way Is Essex in 2014 when she was weeks old. Similarly to Nelly, Arthur first appeared on screens shortly after he was born when Billie and her sister Samantha had their joint series The Mummy Diaries. Since Samantha quit the series in 2021, Billie and Greg have continued to showcase their glamorous lives on their own show - where baby daughter Margot was introduced. Elsewhere Sam over the past few years has built one of the UK's fastest-growing wellness brands, Revive Collagen, which is now stocked in over 4,000 stores across the globe. She co-founded the brand in August 2020 alongside her long-time business manager John Bailey, and still owns the majority stake in the company. Revive Collagen, which sells ready-to-drink liquid collagen supplements, has exploded in popularity, becoming Europe's fastest-growing collagen brand. Sam has also brought serious star power to the table, enlisting Amanda Holden and A-list hairstylist Chris Appleton, the man behind Kim Kardashian and JLo's iconic looks, as faces of the brand.
