Heavy rain triggers mayhem in Delhi-NCR: Videos of flooded school, traffic snarls, waterlogged roads go viral

Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) woke up to heavy rainfall on Wednesday morning, resulting in chaos in several areas during the morning rush hour. Social media was soon flooded with numerous videos capturing the disruption across the region. A video shared by a journalist on X shows children sitting inside a flooded classroom at a government school in Delhi. The footage captures submerged benches, with the children perched on top, keeping their feet raised to avoid the water. Sharing the video, the journalist wrote, 'In Delhi, at the Municipal Girls' School in Tikri Kalan, water flooded up to knee level yesterday. If some cameras turned away from Minto Bridge and focused here, perhaps it would benefit these girls.'
