BJP never asked Mizos to become Hindus: Notlia

National Minority Morcha secretary Delson Notlia said the central BJP has never asked the Mizo tribal community to become Hindus, rather what BJP wants is to lead the state and the people with love and dedication.
Addressing the party workers at 'Atal Bhavan', the BJP state office in Aizawl, in a political session on Friday, Notlia said it has been Congress which is launching a propaganda that BJP is anti Christian as Congress is afraid that BJP will make inroads and become stronger in the Christian dominated state of Mizoram.
"Earlier, other political parties attacked Congress, when it was formed in Mizoram, as a non-tribal and a Hindu party. The same tactic and propaganda is now used by Congress against BJP to ensure that it will remain a political pariah in the Christian dominated state," he said.
