Guy Can Afford Dodge Demon 170, But He Can't Drive It

Just because you have the cash to afford a high-performance muscle car like the Dodge Demon 170 doesn't mean you have what it takes to drive it. Unlike Teslas, which to an extent drive themselves, Demon 170s require a certain level of skill to drive correctly, especially when you drop the hammer and push the envelope.A guy found that out on a public road, of all places, and other people ended up paying the price. Footage of the unfortunate incident was recorded and uploaded to the internet where everyone can learn from his folly forever.
When the footage opens, we can hear the Hemi V8 roaring as the supercharger whines over it. A cloud of tire smoke already trails behind the Mopar as it tears down a public road. Likely, the driver started showing off the sheer power of his pricey muscle car by ripping a huge burnout, then decided to keep rolling while further roasting the tires.
The driver seems to be doing well enough keeping the Dodge going in the right direction. But, once you hear him suddenly lift off the accelerator, the vehicle veers to the left, straight towards a row of cars parked on the side of the road.
Probably everything unfolded in slow motion for the guy as his beloved, new ride smashed nose-first into a car and pickup truck. As the Mopar and the other vehicles give a sickening crunch sound, some bystanders can be heard off-camera exclaiming in shock and pain.
Instead of sitting there for a minute in dismay, the driver throws the Demon 170 into reverse, backs up, then turns around and drives off. That's where the video cuts off, but we have to ask: did he decide to do a hit-and-run? If so, that would've been really bad, especially with everything on video.
