Guy Can Afford Dodge Demon 170, But He Can't Drive It
Read the full story on The Auto Wire
Just because you have the cash to afford a high-performance muscle car like the Dodge Demon 170 doesn't mean you have what it takes to drive it. Unlike Teslas, which to an extent drive themselves, Demon 170s require a certain level of skill to drive correctly, especially when you drop the hammer and push the envelope.A guy found that out on a public road, of all places, and other people ended up paying the price. Footage of the unfortunate incident was recorded and uploaded to the internet where everyone can learn from his folly forever.
When the footage opens, we can hear the Hemi V8 roaring as the supercharger whines over it. A cloud of tire smoke already trails behind the Mopar as it tears down a public road. Likely, the driver started showing off the sheer power of his pricey muscle car by ripping a huge burnout, then decided to keep rolling while further roasting the tires.
The driver seems to be doing well enough keeping the Dodge going in the right direction. But, once you hear him suddenly lift off the accelerator, the vehicle veers to the left, straight towards a row of cars parked on the side of the road.
Probably everything unfolded in slow motion for the guy as his beloved, new ride smashed nose-first into a car and pickup truck. As the Mopar and the other vehicles give a sickening crunch sound, some bystanders can be heard off-camera exclaiming in shock and pain.
Instead of sitting there for a minute in dismay, the driver throws the Demon 170 into reverse, backs up, then turns around and drives off. That's where the video cuts off, but we have to ask: did he decide to do a hit-and-run? If so, that would've been really bad, especially with everything on video.

Jet-Set CEO's $3M Koenigsegg Jesko Ticketed in London While Dining Nearby
Read the full story on Modern Car Collector A £2.2 million Koenigsegg Jesko hypercar, owned by private jet mogul Ameerh Naran, was slapped with a parking ticket this week after being left on a Kensington street while its owner dined nearby. Naran, the CEO of luxury aviation brokerage Vimana Private Jets, parked the ultra-rare Swedish hypercar on Derry Street, just outside the trendy Dishoom restaurant in West London. Moments later, a Kensington and Chelsea traffic warden issued a bright yellow parking charge notice (PCN), placing it squarely on the carbon-fiber bonnet of the car—an image quickly shared online. With a fine of up to £160 (reduced to £80 if paid within two weeks), the penalty is a small price to pay compared to the Jesko's jaw-dropping $3 million valuation. Powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8, the Jesko produces 1,280 horsepower on standard fuel—or up to 1,600 hp on E85—and is capable of reaching 62 mph in under three seconds. According to his Instagram posts, Naran, 39, was enjoying lunch at the nearby Rooftop Gardens while the parking incident unfolded. Originally from Zimbabwe, the entrepreneur built his jet charter empire after studying automotive design, and later launched his own hypercar company, Naran Automotive. Despite his aviation focus, cars have remained central to Naran's identity. A former aspiring racing driver, he once told Forbes that he dreamed of building supercars since childhood. His clients—ranging from royals to ultra-high-net-worth individuals—spend up to $1 million a month on private travel, and often shop at elite brands like Harrods, Ferrara Diamonds, and Asprey London. This isn't the first luxury car to run afoul of Derry Street's strict parking rules. Comedian Michael McIntyre had his £195,000 Mercedes-AMG GT R towed from the same location in May after parking in a police-only zone. In a city where even multi-million-dollar cars can't escape traffic enforcement, it seems not even the most elite wheels are above the rules. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter

Elon Musk's estranged daughter has brutal reaction to Trump feud: ‘I love being proven right'
Elon Musk's estranged daughter appeared to gloat Friday about her billionaire dad's epic public feud with President Trump — saying 'I love being proven right' and cackling with glee on social media. Vivian Wilson, 21 — who vowed to leave the US after Trump was elected president last year — seemingly mocked her tech mogul dad's explosive fallout with his former president ally in an Instagram post. 'I do not want to comment,' she says before howling in a fit of laughter. Advertisement The Tesla CEO and Trump faced off in an ugly verbal spat Thursday after Musk insulted the commander-in-chief's 'big, beautiful bill,' prompting the president to question whether the pair could ever mend their relationship. 3 Elon Musk's daughter Vivian Wilson appeared to mock her dad's explosive feud with the president. Instagram/vivllainous The nasty fight between the world's richest man and the world's most powerful man quickly spiraled — with Musk calling for Trump's impeachment and declaring that the president has links to the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Advertisement Wilson's post came as the feud simmered Thursday, but it didn't specifically mention Trump or her father by name. It's captioned, 'I love being proven right.' Wilson, who is transgender, cut ties with the increasingly volatile Tesla founder in 2022 when she filed a petition to change her gender and name. She has previously bashed Trump's 'anti-trans regulations' and called her dad, who supported the president's 2024 campaign, a 'pathetic man-child,' who hasn't been accepting of her gender. 3 Former allies Trump and Musk faced off in an epic public spat Thursday. Trump is considering selling his Tesla after feuding with Elon Musk
President Donald Trump bought a red Tesla Model S in a show of support for Elon Musk in March. After an explosive bust-up with the Tesla CEO, he's considering selling it, per a White House official. The dramatic disintegration of Trump and Musk's relationship sent Tesla stock plunging on Thursday. Just under three months ago, President Donald Trump stood next to Elon Musk outside the White House to choose a new Tesla. Following his explosive feud with the Tesla CEO, Trump may be about to ditch his shiny EV too. A senior White House official confirmed to Business Insider that Trump was considering selling or giving away the red Model S, which has a list price of about $80,000. The Wall Street Journal first reported the news. Trump picked out the Model S from a lineup of Tesla vehicles during a sales pitch-like event with Musk at the White House in March. At the time, it was a show of support from Trump to his biggest financial backer, with Tesla stock plunging and the company becoming a target for protests due to Musk's efforts to slash the government workforce at DOGE. At the event, Trump said he was buying a Tesla because "it's a great product, as good as it gets," and because Musk had "devoted his energy and his life to doing this, and I think he's been treated very unfairly by a very small group of people." Since then, the relationship between the president and the world's richest person has taken a dramatic turn for the worst. A high-profile spat began on Thursday with Musk criticising Trump's "big, beautiful" tax bill in a series of posts on X. Trump then called the billionaire "crazy" and suggested that "the easiest way to save money in our budget, billions and billions of dollars, is to terminate Elon's governmental subsidies and contracts." The feud damaged Tesla's stock price, closing down 14% on Thursday and wiping $138 billion off the company's valuation. Shares staged a recovery on Friday, rising nearly 5% in morning trading and remain down by a fifth this year. If Trump does decide to sell his Model S, he should probably get a move on. A study by used car site iSeeCars in April found that used Model S prices had dropped more than any other model over the past year, as the resale value of used Teslas continues to slide. Musk did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Read the original article on Business Insider
