Man found dead inside kangaroo, wallaby enclosure with ‘multiple blunt force injuries,' Horry County police say
HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 52-year-old man was found dead inside a wallaby and kangaroo enclosure with 'multiple blunt force injuries,' at a Highway 746 farm just outside of Loris, Horry County police said.
Eric State was discovered in the facility just before midnight. Authorities said an autopsy is planned as officers continue to investigate.
Officials didn't immediately provide a location. An earlier report by police said the man entered an enclosure with the 'non-domesticated' animals.
Horry County councilman Dennis DiSabato told News13 Saturday a kangaroo was directly involved in State's death.
