Queen Alia Intl. Named ‘Most Enjoyable Airport in the Middle East'
This marks the airport's second time to receive the title, bestowed by the Airports Council International. Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) has just been awarded the prestigious title of 'Most Enjoyable Airport in the Middle East' for the second consecutive time, further cementing its reputation as a top-tier travel hub. This recognition comes from the Airports Council International (ACI) as part of the 2024 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey, which evaluates passenger experiences across various airports worldwide. The award highlights QAIA's commitment to providing seamless and pleasant travel experiences, including efficient wait times, excellent shopping, dining, and entertainment options. As part of its ongoing dedication to continuous improvement, QAIA has implemented an advanced customer experience strategy, introducing innovative initiatives across seven of the programme's eight key areas, including customer understanding, strategy, measurement, process improvement, governance, airport culture, and service design/innovation. This commitment to excellence was first recognized in 2022 when QAIA received the 'Most Enjoyable Airport' title under ACI's primary Departing Passenger Survey programme, which ranks the top 5 per cent of airports in each region. In addition to this prestigious award, the airport has renewed its Level 3 Customer Experience Accreditation, which is valid until February 2026, in an effort to maintain international best practices and industry standards.
