Ex Juventus Next Gen Coach Denies Inter Milan U23 Coach Links: ‘I Haven't Been Contacted'
Ex Juventus Next Gen Coach Denies Inter Milan U23 Coach Links: 'I Haven't Been Contacted' Ex Juventus Next Gen Coach Denies Inter Milan U23 Coach Links: 'I Haven't Been Contacted' Former Juventus Next Gen coach Lamberto Zauli denies that he's been contacted by Inter Milan for their new Under-23 team. Zauli spoke to Italian outlet Il GIornale di Vicenza, via FCInterNews. He put the brakes on rumours that he could head up the Nerazzurri's newly-formed youth team next season. Next season, Inter Milan will have an Under-23 team for the first team. This will constitute an intermediate step between the Nerazzurri's Under-19 or Primavera side and the first team. Advertisement Juventus and AC Milan have already formed such teams, with their Next Gen and Futuro sides respectively. And the Bianconeri and the Rossoneri have already seen the benefits. The Bianconeri in particular have used their Under-23 team as a pathway for players into the senior squad. Turkish international Kenan Yildiz is a shining example of the benefits of that approach. Therefore, it is perhaps not surprising to see that Inter Milan are aiming to emulate the success of their Derby d'Italia rivals on that front. Ex Juventus Next Gen Coach Zauli: 'I Haven't Been Contacted By Inter Milan' Coach Lamberto Zauli was a key figure in the early Juventus Next Gen successes. Advertisement This means it is perhaps not surprising that there are rumours of Inter Milan trying to appoint Zauli as the first head coach of their own newly-formed Under-23 team. (Photo by) However, the 53-year-old himself has put the brakes on these rumours. Therefore, Zauli said that 'no one has contacted me.' 'Maybe people are talking about me because I'm one of the few coaches to have worked at Under-23 level, with Juventus,' he speculated. 'But I think the name of [former Inter Primavera coach Stefano] Vecchi would be more likely,' he added. 'He's well-known and has the respect of Inter.' 'Coaching at that level is hard, because you have to give opportunities to younger players,' Zauli said.

France Star Declares ‘I Want To Relive Feeling Of Winning Serie A' With Inter Milan
Marcus Thuram says that he wants to relive the feeling of winning the Scudetto with Inter Milan last season. The Frenchman spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews. Inter Milan won the Serie A title last season. They did so in dominant fashion, in fact, ahead of second place AC Milan by nearly twenty points in the table. That was the first season that Marcus Thuram had at the Nerazzurri. He had joined the club on a free transfer in the summer of 2023. So it proved to be a successful season for Thuram at Inter. And moreover, the Frenchman more than played his part in that success. He scored some decisive goals for the Nerazzurri along the way to the Serie A title. Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram has not lost his hunger, however. Thuram admitted that the Serie A title ambitions 'are always with me.' 'It motivates me to work, and to win matches.' The 27-year-old said that the Serie A title 'is something I want to relive with Inter.' Then, as far as whether he expects tomorrow's match to be decisive, Marcus Thuram admitted 'I don't know.' 'There are still a lot of matches left to go,' he continued. 'But it will be a head-to-head match directly between first and second in the table. It will be hugely important.' Meanwhile, Thuram gave his thoughts on Inter's bitter Derby d'Italia loss to Juventus earlier this month. 'We let a great chance to take three points pass us by,' the Frenchman said. 'Against an opponent we know well.' 'We wanted to win. But we didn't.' 'We have to pick ourselves back up, start again, work, and keep trying to win matches,' Thuram insisted.

Audio Found In Inter Milan Captain's Alleged Blasphemy Case
Audio has been recovered in the alleged blasphemy case involving Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez. This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia. They further report, however, that the 27-year-old would only risk a fine and not a suspension. Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez has been at the centre of some controversy regarding the end of the Derby d'Italia against Juventus. That match had ended in a 1-0 loss for Inter. Naturally, the mood was not a positive one considering the Serie A title implications and the rivalry with the Bianconeri. Moreover, Martinez's performance had not been a positive one. The Argentine squandered good chances during the match. Inter captain Martinez vented his anger in the aftermath of that Derbt d'Italia loss. And there are allegations that the 27-year-old used blasphemous language, a punishable offense in Italian football. So far, however, there has been no conclusive evidence of Martinez using any blasphemous language. The Sporting Justice looked into the matter. But they found no audio evidence of the language, and lip reading evidence was inadmissible. And for his part, Martinez has vehemently denied using any blasphemous language. That does not mean that the matter is closed, however. Italian FA Prosecutor Giuesppe Chine is investigating the case. He has received all of the available footage of the incident from Italian broadcaster DAZN. And according to Sky Sport Italia, Chine has recovered audio of Martinez's outburst. Now the question is what punishment the Inter captain would be at risk of in the case of a guilty verdict. According to Sky, Martinez, the only risk would be a fine. There is a particular reason for this. If the Sporting Justice were to rule on the matter, then they could have issued an immediate suspension. However, the Sporting Justice was not able to do so. This was due to the initial unavailability of any clear audio evidence. The FA prosecutor Chine has now recovered audio, reports Sky. However, a key detail is that in the case of any verdict from the FA, a player is able to appeal and reach a settlement agreement. It would not, on the other hand, be possible to reduce a one-match suspension. Either a player is suspended, or they or not. Therefore, the FA does not issue one-match suspensions as the Sporting Justice does. Therefore, the FA would instead issue Martinez a fine – something that could be subject to a reduction on appeal, unlike a one-match ban,
