"The cost of production is on the rise and budgets are going to be significantly reduced when the shows launch in their new schedule slots. "As well as cuts behind the scenes, there will be big changes on camera, especially on This Morning, big production items like musical theatre performances or outside broadcasts, which is what the show is famous for, will be cut. "Gone are the days of flying talent like Los Angeles to interview Hollywood stars." This Morning is currently headed up by ITV Faces Major Shake-Up: Good Morning Britain Stars Under Threat Amid Cost Cuts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary host the show on Fridays and it is thought that the four of them are safe from any impending job cuts. ITV confirmed earlier this week that Loose Women and Lorraine would both face a major overhaul with the shows axing 22 weeks worth of episodes to take them down to a seasonal basis. Good Morning Britain will be extended on days when Lorraine is not on-air and will be working closer with the ITV News team under the ITN banner. ITV This Morning's Dermot O'Leary apologises after spotting major on-air blunder On Friday's instalment of This Morning, hosts Dermot O'Leary and Lisa Snowdon were hosting the ITV show when a mishap occurred This Morning's Dermot O'Leary was left apologising to viewers during Friday's show after spotting a major blunder on air. To celebrate the Eurovision final this weekend, ITV cook Clodagh McKenna was sharing recipes from around the continent. Picking one of the treats up, she said: "These, I think are my favourite at the moment, they're like a mix of Danish and Italian. Spinach, ricotta, pastry swirls. We're going to show you how to make. "Then we've got these really fun, these are so Eurovision, aren't they? These are Greek salad skewers and they're going to have a honey oregano dressing. Then we've got Swiss chocolate rolls and Strawberries dipped in nuts, German sausages with the most addictive dipping sauce, and lots more!" However, Dermot quickly noticed there wasn't something quite right about one of the flags in the Danish dish. Picking it up, the ITV cook was adamant it was correct. She replied: "It doesn't! This is a Danish flag..." Although Dermot replied he was pretty certain the flag was Spanish. As they all burst out laughing, she confessed: "Well, do you know what? I wasn't in charge of flags." Clodagh was adamant the Spanish flag was for her Danish dish Dermot replied: "I was just curious! Sorry, I shouldn't have said anything." The hilarious antics didn't end there, as Dermot then handed over to the Coupon King, Jordon Cox. Asking what he's been up to, he replied: "Other than tasting Clodagh's strawberries, I've been looking for loads of deals- that sounded pretty weird, I'm sorry!" Although he tried to carry on informing This Morning viewers what he would be speaking about, Jordon struggled to compose himself. In the end, he said 'I'll see you later', before walking out of the frame while Dermot and Lisa could be heard laughing. Jordon was left in hysterics over the blunder This Friday, viewers saw Lisa Snowdon replace regular host Alison Hammond who had taken ill. Addressing her absence on social media, Alison told her followers: " I've had the worst hay fever for the last 2-3 days. It's hit me like a bus. "So, I'm just letting you know that I'm not going to be making This Morning today but the lovely Lisa Snowdon is going to be stepping into my shoes and looking after my lovely Dermot."
