A man who raped a woman after holding her against her will has been jailed for 11 Turay, 47, was found guilty of rape, kidnap, and robbery at Northampton Crown Court in of no fixed address, was told he would serve a further four years on licence when he was sentenced on 31 Con Harriet Stevenson, from Northamptonshire Police, described his actions as "predatory, entitled and threatening". Turay was arrested the following also said he had breached a restraining order relating to a former partner, and breached the order again when he tried to phone the woman in October 2024 attempting to tell her what to say in relation to this he admitted perverting the course of was given an indefinite restraining order preventing contact with the rape survivor and was banned from entering Northampton town centre.
