Qatar Public Works Authority (Ashghal) is expected to award the design-build contract for new service buildings at the AlKass Sports Channels Complex in Doha in the third quarter of 2025, a source told Zawya Projects. The tender for the project was issued on 7 October 2024, with technical bid submissions originally due by 17 November 2024. "The bid submission deadline was extended to 20 April 2025," the source said, adding that the contract is likely to be awarded in July 2025 with a completion timeline of third quarter 2027. The project value, according to his estimates, is $50 million. In October 2024, Zawya Projects had reported that the project is expected to be awarded in March 2025. Kuwait expected to award affordable housing consultancy contract for Ahmadi in Q3

Qatar's Public Works Authority (Ashghal) is likely to award a key consultancy contract for the development of roads and drainage infrastructure in the Al Khor Industrial Area (Phase 1) in the second quarter, according to a source aware of the details. The tender, issued on 6 March 2025, is for a consultancy contract covering concept, preliminary and detailed design, MEP, quantity surveying, and lead design services. It will act as a shared space for all member colleges of QU Health including Medicine, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Dental, and Nursing. The master plan also involves integrating the new facility with existing and in-progress buildings within Qatar University's health cluster, including Ibn Albitar and Alzahrawi buildings, as part of a unified educational and clinical ecosystem.
