Marcoleta takes exception to joke: Napaka walang hiya
Sen. Rodante Marcoleta on Thursday expressed his ire during a committee hearing over a joke regarding his face, saying the person who delivered the line was without shame.
According to Mav Gonzales' report on '24 Oras,' Marcoleta stated that the quip was delivered during a concert.
'Pati po ako ay kanyang idinawit. Bigla ba naman niyang sinabi, 'Tignan n'yo yung mukha ni Marcoleta kung matatawa kayo',' Marcoleta said.
'Napaka walang hiya n'ung tao na 'yon. Ayaw ko na lang siyang patusin,' he added.
Marcoleta didn't name the person, but a video of comedian Vice Ganda joking about the senator had gone viral.
Vice Ganda also had a joke which appeared to be about former President Rodrigo Duterte.
In the skit, Vice Ganda referred to a 'jet ski holiday' which includes a trip to The Hague for the DDS.
In a resolution, the Devao City Council condemned Vice Ganda's joke.
"Former President Duterte is not merely a national leader, he is a son of Davao. For decades, he devoted his life to public service, transforming our city into a model of peace, discipline, and progress, and later serving as the 16th President of the Republic of the Philippines," the resolution read. –NB, GMA Integrated News
