Actor Kajol recently visited the famous Dakshineswar Kali Temple in Kolkata. She was there to seek blessings ahead of her upcoming film 'Maa'. The actor, known for her devotion to Maa Kali, made a spiritual stop at the temple as part of her promotional tour for the actor was spotted in a traditional peach saree with a delicately embroidered golden border and tassels. She paired the saree with a sleeveless matching blouse, minimal makeup, and beautiful earrings. Her look was completed with a simple ponytail and a bindi. Kajol also participated in the temple's aarti ceremony.

advertisementWhile addressing the media, Kajol said,'This is my strongest role ever.' Her film 'Maa' is directed by Vishal Furia. Kajol plays a mother determined to protect her daughter against all odds, a role she describes as both intense and deeply personal.
The film also stars Kherin Sharma in an important role, alongside Ronit Roy and Indraneil Sengupta. 'Maa' is slated for a theatrical release on June 22. Produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, and Kumar Mangat Pathak, the film is presented by Jio Studios and Devgn was last seen in 'Do Patti', a crime thriller in which she starred as a police inspector investigating an attempted murder case. The film, directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, also featured Kriti Sanon in a dual role, alongside actors Shaheer Sheikh, Tanvi Azmi, and Brijendra Kala.
