About Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana Meanwhile, Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana reportedly has a massive budget of Rs 1600 crore, becoming India's most expensive production till date. It has also surpassed the budget of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush (Rs 700 crore) which was a mythological drama too. Ramayana already stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita. Whereas KGF star Yash will be as Raavan, and Sunny Deol will reportedly be seen as Lord Hanuman. The film will also star Arun Govil as King Dasharatha, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Sheeba Chaddha as Manthara and Ravi Dubey will be seen as Lakshman. As per the makers, Ramayana will be released in two parts. The first installment is scheduled to release on Diwali 2026, and the other part will release on Diwali 2027. According to reports, the shooting of Ramayana Part 2 will commence this year by October.

Following the wrap-up of her last show, the actor has been embracing a much-needed break. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now She says, "Once any show ends, I take time to rejuvenate and relax and then bounce back. Daily soaps are especially very demanding. Once on the job, forget leisure time or holidays unless it's planned well in advance.' Shalini, along with her husband Rohit, took an impromptu trip to Nasik. She shared, 'I had been having random dreams of taking a dip somewhere in holy water, so we planned an impromptu trip to Nasik. He is always excited for such trips. This trip was so fulfilling and so surreal. We have come back with our hearts full of gratitude.' The off-time also allows her to focus on her well-being. 'I take care of my health during these times when I am not shooting, I make sure to eat nutritious food and not tiffin-packed lunches, travel and bond back with my friends, and go for coffee dates with them,' she says.

Naagain actor Puja Sharma on comeback after 7 yrs: I took a break from TV to work in films, but couldn't crack the code
Actor Puja Sharma is back on TV after a seven-year hiatus. Known for her roles in Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev (2011) and Naagin (2016), the actor shares, 'Between 2018 and now, a lot has happened — countless auditions, the pandemic, a broken relationship, TV commercials that kept me afloat, and a personal loss in my family. I realised I was putting in hard work, but it wasn't smart work.' Puja Sharma(Photo: Instagram/pujadoesntsharedesserts) Looking back, she says, 'After working in TV for 10 years, post Dil Se Dil Tak (2018), I decided to take a break and transition into films and OTT. I wanted to grow as an actor. Back then, unlike now, the 'TV actor' tag was a big disadvantage. Making the switch wasn't easy, and everyone advised me to take a break and focus on auditions. I was close to a few opportunities that could have changed things for me, but first, the lockdown happened, and then luck wasn't on my side.' Today, Puja feels she could have approached things more strategically. 'Instead of relying solely on film and OTT auditions along with ads, I should have explored theatre. Last year, I ventured into voice-over projects, which took off well. I'm also doing content creation now. I even shot for a feature film, but its release is pending. After my brother passed away a few months ago, I realized I needed to return to acting. Fortunately, I landed a strong role as a as a rebel Naxalite in the TV show Jhanak as the storyline takes a leap,' the actor adds. All for TV even today, Puja lauds the medium, saying, 'I have done diverse roles, but Naagin brought me fame, so supernatural shows have worked in my favour. TV caters to a unique audience, and thankfully, opportunities have expanded now — boundaries have blurred. Hence, I'm hopeful.'
