Trimbakeshwar, Igatpuri & Ghoti teeming with tourists
Nashik: Igatpuri, Ghoti, and Trimbakeshwar are brimming with tourists Nashik district and also from Mumbai and Gujarat.
Over one-and-a-half months, these areas have seen a significant influx of visitors.

Police officials are continuously patrolling the tourist spots to ensure that visitors do not face any kind of inconvenience.
Police officers said, "A large number of hotels and resorts are located in the Igatpuri area, which are nearly full on weekends. Furthermore, there is an increased rush to Trimbakeshwar because of 'Shravan'."
Vishal Gupta, a hotelier from Igatpuri, said, "There are many spots like Vaitarna Dam, Dhammagiri Vipassana Centre, Camel Valley, Ghatan Devi Temple, Bhavali Dam, Talegaon Dam, Tringalwadi, and Bhandardara in and around Igatpuri.
Hence, every year during the monsoon, there is an increased rush of tourists in Igatpuri."
Nearly 30% of the tourists are from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Gujarat, he added.
Senior police officials stated, "We have to plan special bandobast on weekends, considering that visitors turn up at the tourist spots. These are mainly hills, waterfalls, dams, and lakes."
PI Hemant Bhamre of the Wadivarhe police station said, "Visitors come in thousands at times at different scenic spots. Hence, we ensured that there is continuous patrolling in the area."
Over few weekends, the police took action against drunk drivers and those indulging in improper behaviour at these spots. Bhamre said that with repeated action, there was order in most of the tourist spots.
