Ananya has been in the movies for a few years now, and Suhana made her debut with Zoya Akhtar's multi-starrer The Archies. Calling their friendship a 'sisterhood', Shanaya shared that she feels blessed to have the support of her friends in the film industry. Talking further about Suhana Khan, daughter of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, and Ananya Panday, daughter of actor Chunky Panday, Shanaya Kapoor shared, 'We are filled with just love and support, and I am not just saying it but genuinely, anything of mine that comes out, they are the first ones to message me.' We are so excited that we are all in this journey of fulfilling our dreams right now. What a beautiful feeling that we come back and we talk about it together. We are helping each other out. We are experiencing the ups and the downs together and I am very grateful that I have them and I can rely on them and call them whenever I need them for anything. I feel it's very tough to find that sisterhood.' Shanaya Kapoor was previously scheduled to make her debut with Dharma Production' Bedhadak, but the project was shelved. She was then announced to star in Mohanlal-starrer Vrusshabha. She started filming for this project in 2023, but it is yet to release. Recently, she was also seen in a music video by Guru Randhawa titled 'Vibe'.

Housefull 5 director Tarun Mansukhani says he took long break from movies due to 'expensive, unpleasant' divorce

Tarun Mansukhani was one of the most talked-about directors after making Dostana. However, the filmmaker didn't have a release for almost 10 years. The Housefull 5 director recently opened up about why he didn't work even after Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, and John Abraham were a massive hit. (Also read: Tarun Mansukhani defends Housefull 5 against claims of sexism, objectifying women: 'The actual plot is driven by women') In an interview with Just Too Filmy, Tarun revealed that although Dostana was a huge hit and opened many opportunities for him, he could not take up the projects because of turbulence in his personal life. "A lot happened in life. I went through a divorce. It wasn't a pleasant one. It was an expensive one for me, and life just took its own turns. I was not in a bandwidth or headspace to make a film. What I knew about that point in time is that I am in debt, and I don't need to sort that out. I didn't want to make a film, I'll make money or get paid for it. The moment I do that, it is tainted by that because I am making a film in fear. I am not going to be fun on that set either," Tarun said. Tarun ended his nine-year marriage to Karuna in 2014. The couple, who had been together since childhood, filed for divorce by mutual consent. According to reports, their relationship began to face difficulties in 2011, leading to them living apart since 2012. Despite efforts from friends and family to reconcile, their differences became irreconcilable. After Dostana, Tarun came back in 2019 and helmed Dharma Production's Drive, which starred Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles. The film was criticised for its bad CGI, dubbing, and acting. Reportedly, Karan Johar was not happy with the film, which is why it didn't have a theatrical release and went straight to a Netflix release. "I stand by Drive. Shah Rukh sir said once that you will have many hits in your career. It is the one that didn't really work that becomes your favourite because at the end of the day, that is the little weak one in your house, and you want to hold it close and give all the padding you can," Tarun said. Tarun's Housefull 5, which stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan, has crossed the ₹200 crore mark worldwide. Housefull 5 is the fifth instalment in a long-standing comedy franchise that began in 2010. It is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

Karan Johar's Dharma Productions issues statement after 'Homebound' cinematographer accused of sexual harassment: 'His engagement with us has been...'

Dharma Production, which produced 'Homebound', said Shah was a freelancer on the project and worked on it for a limited period of time read more A cinematographer, known for working on Vikramaditya Motwane's 'Jubilee' series and recently on Neeraj Ghaywan's 'Homebound', is at the centre of a major controversy over his alleged inappropriate behaviour. Accusations against cinematographer Pratik Shah surfaced on social media two days ago. Shah, who has deleted his Instagram account in the wake of the controversy, was unavailable when reached out for a comment. In response to the allegations, filmmaker Karan Johar's banner Dharma Production, which produced 'Homebound', said Shah was a freelancer on the project and worked on it for a limited period of time. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD Their statement said, 'Mr. Pratik Shah was a freelancer on the project Homebound and was working on it for a limited period. His engagement with us has been completed. During this limited period, our internal committee for POSH didn't receive any complaints against him from any cast or crew on our film Homebound.' A filmmaker by the name of Abhinav Singh made the allegations and revealed some bone-chilling details about Shah. He said, 'Not a single man messaged to ask what happened, to listen, or to offer support. That silence is loud.' Singh added, 'Use your privilege to listen — really listen. Use your platform to ask difficult questions. Call out behaviour even when it's inconvenient. Do it not just for your mothers, daughters, and sisters — do it for your friends, colleagues, and peers. Being a man is not about 'being able to get it up.' Being a man — being human — is about showing up.' Filmmaker and writer Srishti Riya Jain shared a series of posts on her Instagram and said, 'He been on the prowl for the past four years.' 'To everyone pretending to act shocked, scandalised, and suddenly awoken from their slumber… THIS man worked on one of the 'most empathetic' films of the year — or so the interviews at Cannes claimed,' she wrote.
