'This collaboration with Maersk is a significant milestone, not just for MatchLog but for the entire logistics ecosystem in India. By leveraging our innovative technology and process automation, we are contributing to a more efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable supply chain. Maersk Growth had done an extensive search to find the best platforms in the world for container reuse. They narrowed down to MatchLog. Being an Indian home-grown company, they saw us as the best solution for this part of the world—the Indian subcontinent,' he said. Live Events Taneja added that in the past few months, the company has been in talks with global shipping lines such as Maersk, Hapag Lloyd, MSC, Costco, etc., for their container reuse platform. He pointed out that these conversations indicated that the industry understands that if you want to reuse a container, this is the SOP to be done. 'So today, any single container of any global shipping line which we have contacts with, there is a system now in place where we can send the necessary electronic messages to reuse a container. We want to create a very sustainable ecosystem in the shipping industry,' he said. The partnership underscores the growing importance of container equipment optimisation in driving logistical efficiencies and reducing costs, reaffirming India's position as a critical player in the global shipping and logistics sector.
