Last chance: Dubai Miracle Garden closes its doors next week

Dubai Miracle Garden is one of our favourite outdoor attractions in the city. And if you want to visit, you have just a few days left, as the park is closing its doors for the summer at the end of May. The most colourful space (and most likely, the sweetest smelling) in Dubai announced that the garden will be closing on Saturday, May 31, 2025. The garden is home to millions of blooms and is open daily: On Saturday and Sunday, it's open from 9am to 11pm, and from Monday to Friday, 9am to 9pm. But don't be alarmed… Once the summer has passed and the cooler weather has once again graced the city, the gates will reopen. This usually happens at the end of October or early November. Dubai Miracle Garden is the world's largest display of flora and fauna, with the 72,000 square meter destination home to over 50 million flowers in 120 varieties. If you're still keen to get down to Dubai Miracle before this season ends, you can book tickets online here. Tickets cost Dhs100 for adults (over 12 years old), Dhs85 for children three to 12, and those under the age of three can enter for free (Emirates ID or an official ID will need to be shown as proof). *10 indoor attractions in Dubai that will pop on your Instagram* So, when will Dubai Miracle Garden reopen for the new season? We currently do not have the reopening dates for Dubai Miracle Garden's next season, but the dates are usually announced on social media towards the end of summer. We will be keeping our eyes on the news, and we will let you know as soon as we know. The garden, which opened in 2013, transforms and adds new floral arrangements, sculptures, and more each season. No matter how many times you visit, you will be amazed. In 2016, the attraction also won a Guinness World Record for the largest flower arrangement/structure forming the shape of the Airbus A380, pictured above. Dubai Miracle Garden, Al Barsha South 3, Dubailand, 9am to 9pm weekdays, 9am to 11pm weekends, until Sun June 4. Dhs100 for adults, Dhs85 for children under 12, children under 3 are free. 10 creative cocktails to sip around Dubai this World Cocktail Day

A cocktail with layers, just like the famous Russian doll it's named after. This fiery blend of El Jimador Reposado tequila, absinthe, pineapple, passion fruit, habanero, and agave brings tropical sweetness, herbal notes, a little heat, and plenty of punch. Bold but balanced, and seriously fun to sip. Where: Raspoutine, DIFC Price: Dhs80 Say hello to your new favourite aperitif. This inventive cocktail celebrates Mediterranean tradition with Moscatel wine, pisco, honey, and lemon juice, but the real kicker? A generous dusting of freshly grated Parmesan Reggiano on top. Sweet, floral, sharp and just the right amount of salty, it's a flavour pairing that just works. Where: Kira Restaurant, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab Price: Dhs85 Looking for something elegant with a twist? This peach and rosemary-infused drink blends St-Germain elderflower liqueur, Paragon white Penja pepper cordial, elderflower tonic and fresh lemon juice, all served in a beautiful glass that's as much a treat for the eyes as it is for the palate. Where: Bar Du Port, Dubai Harbour Price: Dhs110 A cocktail with quiet power. Kawa stirs smoky matcha with bright yuzu, orange, and fresh lime, landing somewhere between earthy, tangy, and just sweet enough. A nod to modern Asian flavours, it's layered, balanced, and seriously easy to get lost in. Where: CE LA VI Bright, bittersweet, and dressed with a little sparkle, The 50 Special stirs Aperol with house-made orange and rosemary cordial, fresh strawberry, and a splash of Prosecco. Served in a bespoke ceramic Vespa glass, it's a nod to Italian craft with a playful twist. Where: Signor Sassi, St. Regis Gardens. Price: Dhs90 Alma Bar puts a bold spin on the Old Fashioned with this mix of rich spices and date-infused warmth, echoing the heritage of Dubai in every sip. Snow Abu Dhabi is throwing a fun run for kiddos

Think fun runs are all about the sweat and sunburn? Think again. Snow Abu Dhabi is flipping the script – and the season – with the return of the Snow Fun Run, a wintry racecourse for kids aged 6 to 14 taking place in actual snow. Yep, you read that right. The capital's coolest indoor destination is hosting a fun-fuelled, frost-covered challenge where little adventurers can dash through a 400-metre track in sub-zero temperatures – all without leaving the UAE. Back for its second edition on Saturday, May 31, the event is organised in partnership with Abu Dhabi Sports Council and is packed with icy action. Kids will not only race against the clock, but also collect tokens throughout the course to enter a prize raffle at the end (because nothing says motivation like mystery prizes and hot chocolate at the finish line). The run is split into age groups so everyone gets a fair crack at snow-glory: 6 to 8 years – Race starts at 8.30am – Race starts at 8.30am 9 to 11 years – Race starts at 9am – Race starts at 9am 12 to 14 years – Race starts at 9.30am Every young participant will bag a commemorative medal, a souvenir t-shirt and yes, a steaming cup of hot chocolate to warm those fingers. Adults aren't left out either – all under-14s must be accompanied by a grown-up who gets free access to the cheering zone. Expect plenty of good vibes, cosy snacks and family-friendly energy throughout the morning. The Snow Fun Run is all about keeping kids active, engaged and excited about fitness – without sweating it out in the summer heat. It's part of Snow Abu Dhabi's wider calendar of community events focused on building healthy habits and making sport a blast. Registration closes May 29, so get those snow boots ready. From Dhs85.
