SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A Springfield woman is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery's '$2,000,000 Diamond Cashword' instant ticket game. The lottery announced on April Fools' Day that Tawanda Brown cashed in her ticket and claimed a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). She said she plans on buying a new washer and dryer and making some home repairs.
