They were expected to activate IF/OF Tommy Edman from the injured list on Sunday and might bring back OF Teoscar Hernandez in time for the Diamondbacks' series. The Dodgers lost RHP Kirby Yates to an injury over the weekend. DH Shohei Ohtani has not gotten back on the mound yet but continues to be a dominant force nevertheless. He is hitting .305/.404/.667 with 16 homers and 10 steals. 1B Freddie Freeman also is having a terrific year, with a .375/.435/.680 line with 10 doubles, one triple and nine homers. LHP Tanner Scott has thrown well in relief, logging a 1.74 ERA in 20⅔ innings, with one walk and 21 strikeouts.
