911 Call From Choreographer In Beyoncé-Related Car Break-In Released
911 audio has been revealed from the moment Beyoncé's choreographer called Atlanta emergency services to report their vehicle had been broken into. A brief clip was shared by NBC News, detailing part of the conversation that highlighted Christopher Grant's attempt to explain the magnitude of the break-in. 'Someone broke into my car,' Grant anxiously explained to the 911 dispatcher. 'I was parked in a garage while I went to a restaurant. But they stole, like my computers and everything, but it has the tracker on it.' He continued, 'They have my computers, and it's really, really important information in there…I work with someone who's like of a high status, and I really need the, um, my computer and everything.' In the call, Grant also informed the dispatcher that he had been tracking the stolen items using the Find My function installed on Apple products, and had been watching the devices move on the app. According to WSB-TV 2 Atlanta, law enforcement has identified a vehicle involved in the break-in as a 2025 Hyundai Elantra. The owner of the car informed the news outlet that the sedan was rented out through a private service. The Los Angeles Times reported that Atlanta police have secured an arrest warrant for a male believed to be involved in the crime. A statement on Monday (July 14) detailed, 'At this time, the suspect remains outstanding, and their identity is not yet available for release.' Grant and dancer Diandre Blue informed investigators that when thieves forced their way into their SUV rental, they stole two suitcases, jump drives containing unreleased Beyoncé music, footage plans for Queen Bey's live show, past and future set lists, and more. The theft happened last week ahead of the Houston native's Atlanta takeover for the COWBOY CARTER tour. 'Mr. Grant advised he was also carrying some personal sensitive information for the musician Beyoncé,' elaborated the incident report. 'He advised he was her choreographer and Mr. Diandre Blue was a dancer for her and that her hard drives for her upcoming show in Atlanta were stolen also. The hard drives contained water marked music, some un-released music, footage plans for the show and past and future set lists,' the officer added in the police report. Unreleased Beyoncé Music Stolen From Rental Car Ahead of Cowboy Carter Tour Atlanta Stops
Unreleased Beyoncé music and other sensitive documents have been stolen in Atlanta after thieves allegedly broke into a rental car for the superstar's choreographer and one of her dancers last week. According to an incident report reviewed by The Hollywood Reporter, the alleged theft took place on the evening of July 8, less than two days before Beyoncé started her four-night run at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Per the report, choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue told authorities that they parked their rental car at a parking deck and left at just past 8 p.m., and that by the time they came back an hour later, they saw someone had broken in through the trunk and took two suitcases. Also stolen were various clothing items, AirPods Max headphones and MacBook laptops. According to Atlanta's local ABC affiliate WSB-TV, which first reported the news of the theft, Atlanta Police have also issued a warrant for a suspect's arrest. Per the APD, police dusted the rental car and found two prints. A security camera caught video of the incident. According to the incident report, police used Find My to track the location of the AirPods and laptops, leading authorities to locations redacted on the report. One of the officers wrote in the report that they'd conducted a 'suspicious person stop' in the area the AirPods were pinging from. The theft isn't the first bit of drama to hit the Cowboy Carter Tour these past few weeks; last month, one of Beyoncé's hometown Houston shows was briefly paused after a scary malfunction with her prop car caused the vehicle to tilt in midair. A representative for Beyoncé didn't respond to THR's request for comment. The singer plays her final Cowboy Carter Atlanta show this evening. AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM: Beyoncé's Unreleased Music Was Stolen In Atlanta During ‘Cowboy Carter' Tour Stop
Renaissance Act III might be even further away than we thought… Source: Kevin Mazur / Getty During Beyoncé's sold-out four-show run in Atlanta, the star's choreographer and one of her dancers said thieves broke into their SUV and stole numerous items. According to reports from local station Channel 2 WSB-TV , the items stolen include jump drives containing unreleased music, footage plans for her show, and past and future set lists. While news of the theft only became public on July 14, ahead of her final night in ATL, a spokesperson for Atlanta police told the station the break-in happened just after 8 p.m. on July 8. The break-in, which happened less than 48 hours before her first show in the city, occurred inside a parking deck at Krog Street Market. Channel 2's Michael Seiden reported on Monday evening that an arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect. Christopher Grant and Diandre Blue told police that they parked their rental black Jeep Wagoneer in the parking deck around 8:09 p.m. When they returned to their SUV, they discovered someone broke in through the back lift gate, and their two suitcases had been stolen. 'Mr. Grant advised he was also carrying some personal sensitive information for the musician Beyoncé,' an officer wrote in the incident report. 'He advised he was her choreographer and Mr. Diandre Blue was a dancer for her and that her hard drives for her upcoming show in Atlanta were stolen also. The hard drives contained water marked music, some un-released music, footage plans for the show and past and future set lists.' According to reports from Billboard , who received a statement from Atlanta police, ' the suspect remains outstanding, and their identity is not yet available for release.' 'On July 8, 2025, Atlanta Police Zone 6 officers responded to 99 Krog St. NE regarding a report of a theft from motor vehicle. Preliminary investigation revealed a Jeep Wagoneer was broken into at the location and two suitcases had been stolen,' the statement read. 'Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department's Larceny from Auto Unit led the investigation and have subsequently secured an arrest warrant for a suspect.' Beyoncé does not play about music leaks, so if whoever stole her hard drives puts unreleased songs on the internet, Bey just might end up scrapping them all. Beyoncé's unreleased music was stolen. Now Atlanta PD has an arrest warrant in hand
Thinking of stealing from Team Beyoncé? Think twice, because Atlanta police have a suspect in their sights after jump drives containing unreleased music by the singer were stolen from her choreographer's van. Queen Bey just wrapped up her shows in the ATL, but a bad tone was set for the four-night stand on July 8 when a Jeep Wagoneer rented by Beyoncé's choreographer Christopher Grant was broken into. The vehicle was on the main level of a parking structure near the city's Krog Street Market. Read more: 'Reclaiming red, white and blue': What fans wore to Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter' show in L.A. Grant and dancer Diandre Blue had stopped at a restaurant shortly after 8 p.m. to get something to eat. When they returned a little more than an hour later, they saw that the back window of the SUV had been smashed and their suitcases had been stolen, according to an Atlanta Police Department report. The two suitcases held two computers and five jump drives containing unreleased music by Beyoncé as well as footage, plans for the tour production and past and future set lists, the report said. Clothing, Apple AirPods Max headphones and designer sunglasses were also taken, the report said. "They have my computer, and it's really, really important information in there," Grant said in a 911 call released by Atlanta police, keeping his employer's name out of it. "I work with someone who is, like, of a high status, and I really need my computer." He told police that the "Find My" feature was tracking his Mac devices. An officer was able to lift "two very light" fingerprints from the black Wagoneer, and police responded to the area where the devices were pinging. Bey's tour stop wrapped with a small catastrophe as well: An escalator at the city's Vine City MARTA station reportedly sped up, then stopped, causing a small stampede after someone screamed. Medics took people out of the station on stretchers and in wheelchairs, according to FOX 5 Atlanta. "the escalator BROKE. someone screamed, people started running and at some point (maybe because the escalator broke and it was WAY too many people) people got injured," user @carlyraesasuke wrote Tuesday morning on X.
