Enjoy comedy, delectable dishes and anime in Joburg this weekend

Robby Collins and Dillan Oliphant are coming together for a fresh new two-man comedy called 'Step Brothers'.
The stand-up comedy act will see the funnymen getting up to their usual comical shenanigans on stage while they share their unique stories and jokes, which have earned them widespread acclaim.
Where: Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! In Melrose Arch.
When: Saturday, July 26, from 7.30pm.
The Halaal Goods Market
This gathering, which is South Africa's very first artisanal market dedicated to Halaal food and lifestyle goods, is making its return to Joburg this weekend.
The highlight of the gathering will be the mix of Halaal-friendly street food from over 100 carefully-curated, culturally diverse vendors from across South Africa.
Attendees can also shop for locally made clothing, shoes and jewellery. There will also be a kids craft play area.
Where: Waterfall Park in Midrand.
When: Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27, from 10am to 6pm daily.
Throwback Anime Market
This event will feature anime-themed bingo, an anime general knowledge test as well as other anime-themed games and trivia.
There will also be a cosplay competition while attendees will get a chance to shop for anime goods at various stalls.
Where: Kokoro Fourways in Sandton.
When: Saturday, July 26, from 11am to 4pm.
