Parnaik awards NIMAS director

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh governor KT Parnaik on Monday presented the 'Governor's Medallion for Excellence' to the Dirang-based National Institute of Mountaineering and Adventure Sports (NIMAS) director Col RS Jamwal for his contributions to adventure activities in the frontier state, reports Joken Ete.
The award was presented to Col Jamwal when he called on the governor at the Raj Bhavan here. Col Jamwal briefed about the activities of NIMAS, including the Brahmaputra River Rafting Expedition and Mount Kanchenjunga Expedition.
