The National Association of ESEA Program Administrators recognizes qualifying federally-funded schools for 'positive educational advances' and student academic achievement in three categories: Exceptional student performance and academic growth, closing the achievement gap between student groups and excellence in serving special populations of students — students experiencing homeless, English learning students.
'At CCHS, our mission is to provide every student with exemplary academic opportunities, technological skills, social awareness and personal growth,' officials said in a release.
The ESEA Network has been recognizing schools with the Distinguished Schools Program since 1996.
