Grants are awarded across Clydesdale community

A whole host of grants have been awarded to groups across the Clydesdale community.

Carluke and District Community Connections applied for materials, equipment and entrance fees to help with caring, connected and sustainable communities and secured: £680 (60 per cent of £800 and £200 entrance fees).
Forest Kirk Guild applied for a grant for an outing and secured £300.
Law Parish Church Guild sought a grant to help fund an outing and entrance fees and were awarded £350.
Lanark and District U3A ought a grant for an outing and entrance fees and secured £350.
Lanark-based Kirkfieldbank Homing and Sporting Club were given £250 to help fund equipment, administration and publicity costs.
Windy Wonders in Rigside sought a grant to help with start-up costs, equipment and materials and were given £300.
Crawford and Elvanfoot Scottish Women's Institute sought a grant to fund entrance fees and were given £256.
Carstairs Senior Citizens Association sought funding for an outing, equipment, administration and publicity costs and were awarded £625.
Elsrickle Women's Rural Institute asked for a grant to fund an outing and were given £300.
Waterside WRI sought a grant for n outing and were awarded £300.
