Guymon man wins $1 million off scratcher ticket
GUYMON, Okla. (KFOR) — A Guymon resident experienced a life-changing moment Thursday after winning $1 million from a 'Money Maker' scratcher ticket.
According to the Oklahoma Lottery, Robert from Guymon purchased the $1 million winning Money Maker ticket at Dizzy B's Country Store. He is a longtime lottery player, having played for 20 years.
'It didn't feel real until my wife confirmed it for me,' said Robert.
He now plans on using the winning money to remodel his bathroom, buy a new lawnmower, and purchase his wife a brand-new car.
Robert becomes the 87th millionaire in the history of the Oklahoma Lottery.
'We love seeing our players take home life-changing prizes,' said Abby Morgan, Director ofMarketing & Product Development at the Oklahoma Lottery. 'This $1 million win is a perfectexample of how exciting and rewarding our games can be.'
The Oklahoma Lottery says the $30 Money Maker scratcher has two $1 million top prizes remaining.
