Get ready for another heart-pounding gym drama, this time centering on Do Hyeon-jung. who happens to be the manager of a 24 hour gym who has become a 'health freak,' who corrects the lives of his members. At the time of writing, KBS2 have not renewed Pump Up the Healthy Love for season 2. Given the ratings over the weeks, it'll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up. KBS2 do have ratings available to look over here, with the first episode beginning with a respectable 1.8% share and since then it's been hovering around a 1.3% rating, which is not bad for a mid-week K-drama. What we know about season 2 so far: Barely anything is known about season 2 right now. Given most Korean dramas are reserved to one season, it's rare to find these sort of shows renewed. With the rare exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.) then it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed. Having said that though, we have seen Taxi Driver and Tale of the Nine Tailed renewed recently, alongside Alchemy of Souls too. Given how steady the ratings are for this series, could we see this one buck the trend? It seems very unlikely that Pump Up the Healthy Love will, but you never know!
