Philadelphia Eagles WR A.J. Brown says someone stole his car

Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown has a plea for whoever stole his car in the Philadelphia area overnight Monday. Return it today, and he won't press charges. In a video posted to Instagram Stories, Brown said his car was stolen shortly before 3:45 a.m. Monday. "You smooth it, though," Brown said in the video. "You pulled up at 3:42. You got up out of there at 3:45. You're fast on your feet." Brown reported the stolen car on Instagram and his X account , stating that he would not press charges if the vehicle is returned. "C'mon Philly. C'mon, man. You stole my whip last night. C'mon, man. I'll make a deal with you, bro. To whoever you are. Which I'm going to find out soon. I'll make a deal with you, bro. Just bring the whip back, bro. I won't press charges, bro," Brown said in an Instagram Stories video. "Just bring the whip back, bro, and you can go on about your day. But if I find you, c'mon, bro. It's going to be what it's going to be. And I'm going to come in the integration room, I might see about you, my boy, I'm on that. Just bring the whip back, bro." Brown, who lives in South Jersey, recently bought a Rolls-Royce after helping the Eagles win Super Bowl LIX. He has also been seen driving a Honda Accord to games. On social media, he didn't specify which car was stolen or where. CBS News Philadelphia reached out to police in both the city and South Jersey. The Philadelphia Police Department was unaware of the incident, and we're still awaiting a comment from police and a borough official in South Jersey. In 2023, former Eagles safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson reported his car was stolen after the team's playoff win over the New York Giants. Last year, former Eagles DeSean Jackson's Dodge Challenger Hellcat was stolen in Los Angeles. Jackson was named the head football coach for Delaware State University in December 2024. Earlier this year, former Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux had his car stolen twice in four months in Ottawa. In December 2024, the FBI warned pro sports leagues about a string of recent burglaries targeting professional athletes.

Westen Champlin's 4×4 Hellcat Challenger Goes Full Mayhem in Off-Road Debut

⚡️ Read the full article on Motorious Turning a Dodge Challenger Hellcat into an off-road rig might sound like madness, but for YouTube star and Kansas-based car builder Westen Champlin, that's just Tuesday. Champlin recently debuted his one-of-a-kind 4×4 Hellcat Challenger—a lifted beast packing solid axles, a custom frame, 35-inch tires, and, of course, supercharged Hellcat power. After more than a year in the garage, the team took the mutant muscle car to Oklahoma's Crossbar Off-Road Park for its first real-world test. The results? Let's just say things escalated quickly. 'Handling was terrifying,' Champlin admitted after the first few shakedown runs. Even with a sway bar installed, the Challenger reportedly swayed like a cruise ship in a hurricane. 'We wanted something that would work… it works at trying to kill you,' he quipped. The real disaster struck when Champlin shifted into four-wheel drive for the first time—only to have a locking hub break immediately. A hunch he'd previously joked about became an off-road reality. After limping back to get parts, Champlin hit the highway for a repair run, where the steering system decided to disassemble itself at 65 mph. 'You haven't lived until your off-road Hellcat's steering falls off at highway speed,' he said. Things didn't get better. Once back at the park, the team sent the car into a deep mud hole, where it promptly stalled. 'I forgot it breathes through the headlight,' Champlin said, later discovering the engine had developed a worrying tick. 'We might've blown up the off-road Hellcat,' he sighed. Despite the chaos, Champlin sees it as a win. 'We're testing to see what's not good,' he said. 'And now we know. A lot.' The wild 4×4 build may be battered, but it's not beaten. As Westen put it, 'We learned what to fix—and we're definitely not done.'

‘65 Mustang Is Really A BMW E46 With A Hellcat Front

⚡️ Read the full article on Motorious Some people push the automotive boundaries just to ruffle feathers, get others to think, or because they can. We're not sure if any of those reasons are behind this creation customfncustoms showed off on Facebook recently. The California shop has teamed up with Abimelec Design to completely transform a BMW E46 by putting a 1965 Ford Mustang body on the chassis and attaching a Dodge Challenger Hellcat front. It's one way to anger BMW, Ford, and Mopar purists all at the same time. Interestingly, the car looks pretty good, instead of being some cobbled-together mess which should never have been conceived of in the first place. Considerable work has been done to ensure the transition between the Hellcat front and the Mustang body is seamless. With big fender flares and smaller wheels than you'd probably expect to see on a modern American muscle car, this ride looks a little off, especially if you stare at it for too long. Those glowing stripes are supposed to be Lumilor paint. If you aren't familiar with the product, it's electroluminescent, so when electricity is applied it will light up. In other words, you could make any car look kind of like a Tron vehicle, which we must admit is pretty cool, even if we know some people will abuse that in the most retina-scorching ways imaginable. It's being touted as a solution for increasing visibility for motorcyclists, cyclists, and others at night, which is a great idea. We get not everyone is going to like this build, but have a feeling customfncustoms won't really care. It's definitely a unique car and probably will still that way. What you're seeing right now are renderings, so it'll be interesting to see the finished product and how it actually turns out.

Police Lay A Trap For A Dodge Hellcat, Then All Hell Breaks Loose

Read the full story on The Auto Wire After a suspect in a red Dodge Challenger Hellcat flees from police in the area of Albuquerque, New Mexico multiple times, including once going over 130 mph, cops set a trap. Despite meticulous planning and the use of advanced technologies, everything goes to hell in a handbasket as the suspect makes full use of the high-powered American muscle police didn't know before they sprung the trap is the suspect had been in trouble with the law before. He had been charged with murder in 2014 but wasn't convicted, but did plead guilty to other charges from the same violent incident. In other words, they were dealing with a hardened criminal willing to go to extreme lengths to escape capture. Footage of the police chase starts with aerial reconnaissance spotting the Hellcat parked at a gas station. Officers set up spike strips nearby, determined to even the playing field since they can't possibly keep up with the supercharged Hemi monster. An officer on foot, with no patrol car in sight, is able to successfully spike the Dodge as the suspect appears to not even notice. With the advantage starting to favor them, police move in with the plan of performing a quick PIT maneuver, ending the chase before it even begins. However, as officers in Ford F-150s approach and turn on their lights, the suspect floors it. Even with the tires deflating, he's able to rocket ahead, leading to exactly what police were trying to avoid. The suspect goes the wrong way on a major road, but thankfully there isn't much traffic. After running for a bit, the guy realizes police are following on the other side of the road, so he starts flipping around. However, his rapidly deflating tires don't give him the traction to deal with a curb he runs over, hanging up the Hellcat as police in their trucks come in for the kill. Three pickups pin the Mopar as the supercharged V8 growls, but the rear tires can't get enough traction to do anything other than smoke. Thanks to some non-lethal tools, authorities are able to finally get the driver and his female passenger to comply with orders to get out of the muscle car, although the guy tries his luck at sprinting away and gets about fifty feet.
